1. Introduction to astrology

Astrology is defined in the Chambers Dictionary as: “…the study of the movements of the stars and planets and their influence on people’s lives”.

Although astrology is viewed as a crank belief by many people (who usually have no understanding of it at all) there is no doubt that the sun, moon, and planets of our solar system have an effect on the human body and the planet Earth. Although many serious astrologers dismiss as “nonsense” the popular “sun sign astrology” which is responsible for the plethora of daily horoscope columns, zodiac sign personality profiles, and the annual tabloid predictions given by astrologers each year, many people ignorantly equate the entire science of astrology with these dubious things.

A major principle in astrology is the idea represented by the saying, “As above, so below” or “That which is above is the same as that which is below.” In quantum physics terminology, it means that what applies to the very large (the solar system) applies to the very small (the atom). The same laws apply to both. In mathematical terms, human beings are like a “fractal” of the universe, each cell in our body is like a “fractal” (DNA) of our entire body, the atom is like a fractal of each cell, and so on, ad infinitum. The ancients believed the study of the stars is a study of the inner workings of the human mind. This does not seem like such an odd idea when you consider that everything – including our minds – evolved from the stars from the Big Bang. Astrology is simply a system of thought concerning the connections between external reality and internal reality.

Everyday we rise with the sun when our bodies release hormones that awaken us in the morning. In the summer, when the sun appears in the sky longer, our endocrine glands release more hormones which bring us a sense of well-being. By late afternoon we become more relaxed as the sun’s strength wanes. Lunar cycles also have an effect on the Earth and human beings. The tidal flow of the world’s oceans corresponds to the waxing and waning of the moon, as does the menstrual cycle. The mental disorder called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is the result of the long nights and weeks during winter when the sun does not appear in the sky as long. However, on the equator, where the sun is stronger and appears for longer periods, SAD does not exist. The American Institute of Medical Climatology did a study for the Philadelphia Police Department and the results were documented in a report entitled The Effect of the Full Moon on Human Behavior. The report provided evidence that the full moon marks a monthly peak in various kinds of psychotically oriented crimes such as murder, arson, dangerous driving, and kleptomania. Psychologist Arnold Lieber at the University of Miami collected data on homicide in Miami’s Dade County over a period of 15 years involving 1,887 murders. He published his findings in his book The Lunar Effect: Biological Tides and Human Emotion. When they matched the incidence of homicide with the phases of the moon, they found, much to their surprise, that the two rose and fell together, almost infallibly, for the entire 15 years. As the full or the new moon approached, the murder rate rose sharply; it distinctly declined during the first and last quarters of the moon. The study was replicated using murder statistics from Cuyahoga County in Ohio (Cleveland). Again, the statistics revealed that more murders do indeed occur at the full and new moons.

The monthly lunar cycle can be in choosing the timing and gender of babies. The Southern California Methodist Hospital discovered that more babies are conceived on the waxing moon than on the waning. Out of 11,025 births over a period of six years, nearly 1,000 more children were conceived during the waxing moon which is statistically significant. It appears that successful conception is easier at that time of the waxing moon. In another study, German researcher W. Buehler analyzed 33,000 births and discovered that there was a significant preponderance of male births during the waxing moon. This knowledge, combined with medical techniques known to affect fertility and sex, can help people in planning for their children.

As you will see later in this article, many scientific studies have validated astrological principles.

2. Carl Jung’s astrology study

Carl G. Jung, the world-renowned psychologist and founder of analytical psychology, believed that when people are born, or when anything at all occurs, the influence of the planets are exerted on them. Jung believed astrology to be an archetypal system that works through synchronicity, a term coined by Jung. Synchronicity is the belief that everything in the universe is interrelated which explains phenomena such as meaningful coincidences and astrology. In 1944, Jung had a heart attack which resulted in a near-death experience. His vivid encounter with the light, plus the intensely meaningful insights he received, helped Jung develop his ideas on the archetypes of the collective unconscious and how it relates to concepts found in astrology. Jung’s experiences and knowledge led him to create the field of analytical psychology. Jung did an analysis of astrology to determine its place in synchronicity. He studied 483 married couples and noted the astrological connections between the birth dates of married couples. These findings concluded that long lasting relationships had a certain astrological pattern which were found to be three times higher than the rate of coincidence. Also astounding was the fact that the couples whom astrologers would interpret as being the most conducive to marriage were the couples whose astrological pattern occurred most frequently. The pattern that astrologers interpret as least conducive to marriage occurred least often among the couples. Jung calculated the odds of the this result occurring randomly is 1 in 62,500,000. Jung believed incidents like these are the result of synchronicity.

3. The Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy astrological connection

Perhaps the most fascinating examples of synchronicity can be found in the parallels between the lives of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy and their astrological connection. The synchronicity between the Lincoln and Kennedy assassinations have been appreciated for decades and have been well recorded. In fact, such speculations first emerged shortly after the assassination of Kennedy in 1963 and was published in the Readers Digest in 1982.

4. Scientific evidence validating astrology

a. Serial killers can be identified through a person’s astrological birth chart.

A recent episode of the television program, Unsolved Mysteries, profiled a segment concerning an experiment in astrology. The producers of the show had twenty astrological birth charts from people at random. Included with the twenty astrological charts, the producers put the astrological charts of four serial killers: Jeffrey Dahlmer, David Son of Sam Berkowitz, David the Night Stalker Ramirez, and Ed Kemper. These astrological charts were given to Carolyn Reynolds, a well-known astrologer, to see if she can glean any information from them. Without knowing the identity of the people whose charts she was analyzing, Carolyn Reynolds successfully identified the four people as possible serial killers. She was also able to give other specific information about these serial killers that proved correct. She was able to do all this just by analyzing their astrological birth chart.

A similar experiment was done by other people with a different set of people and a different group of serial killers. The astrologer who evaluated their birth charts without knowing who they were, was Edna Rowland, another professional astrologer. They came up with similar results and published their findings in a book entitled, Destined for Murder: Profiles of Six Serial Killers With Astrological Commentary.

b. There is a correlation between a person’s chosen profession and their astrological birth chart.

Michel Gauquelin, a French psychologist and statistician, was highly skeptical of the validity of astrology. In his book, “Written in the Stars” he outlines the research he conducted to find out if there was a correlation between a person’s chosen profession and their natal chart. Gauquelin’s findings placed astrology firmly on the doorstep of science. His findings revealed that the position of the stars had some indication as to what line of work a person may enter in life. The psychologist Hans Eysenck once said, “How ever much it may go against the grain, I think we must admit that there is something here that requires explanation.” His results, however, only seemed to work within the members of the higher professionals, the same response not being achievable with unskilled workers.

Gauquelin found that people of certain professions tend to have the same planets in these critical segments with a greater frequency than statistical average. Not only that, but he also found an effect which he titled the “theory of eminence” which holds that not only do people established in their chosen fields have a greater than statistical chance average of having those planets in these important fields. The more eminent a person is in their field, the greater the likelihood that those planets will be found in those critical segments. For example, doctors were found to have the planet of Saturn in these critical segments. If you take an average, general practice physician, the chances of he or she having Saturn in that critical position is much less than the chart of a highly prominent physician, one who is frequently published and renowned in their field. In other words, the more prominent you are in your field, the greater the chances you will have the corresponding planet in the critical field of the wheel.

Although scientists find Gauquilin’s findings very disquieting, increasingly sophisticated analysis seems to confirm, rather than disconfirm, certain of the original results. For example, in a 1986 study, the German researcher, Suitbert Ertel, reported:

“A reanalysis of Gauquelin professional data using alternative procedures of statistical treatment supports previous Gauquelin results. Frequency deviations from chance expectancy along the scale of planetary sectors differ markedly between professions.” (Suitbert Ertel)

c. Mental illness can be predicted by astrology.

Psychiatrist Dr. Mitchell E. Gibson, M.D., did a study of more than 400 astrological birth charts and through the use of scientific statistical research models, discovered a new technique for predicting mental illness. He discovered that the average person’s birth chart contains about three marker aspects of depression. The birth chart of someone with major depression contains an average of ten such markers. Even with no previous astrological experience, a person can spot the indicators for mental illness through the declinations and multiple planet aspects that form the basis of this pioneering work. All of the patients were diagnosed according to the DSM, the gold standard of psychiatric diagnostic criteria. The diagnostic groups represented include major depression, anxiety, addictive disorder, schizophrenia, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. His study is documented in his book Signs Of Mental Illness: An Astrological and Psychiatric Breakthrough by Mitchell E. Gibson.

d. Fetuses might be affected by the movement of the sun, moon, and planets as they interfere with the Earth’s magnetic field which may have an influence on the fetuses occupation later in life.

In his latest book, The Scientific Proof of Astrology, Percy Seymour, the former Plymouth University, England, astronomy lecturer, and member of the Royal Astronomical Society, argues that the movement of the sun, moon and various planets undoubtedly hold an influence over us. The argument Seymour puts forward is that the movement of the Sun, moon and sundry planets from Jupiter to Mars, interfere with the Earth’s magnetic field. In doing so, the unborn offspring of expectant mothers around the world are exposed to different magnetic fields that toy with the development of their budding brains. A study of the 1991-92 English football league suggested players were nearly twice as likely to be born between September and November than in the summer months. Fast bowlers, according to another study, were more likely to be born in the first half of the year. Read more about all this in the news article entitled “Written in the Stars.”

e. Women can use the lunar cycle for purposes of contraception.

In 1976, Berkeley health feminist Louise Lacey published a study in her book Lunaception: A Feminine Odyssey into Fertility and Contraception which suggests that women can use the lunar cycle for purposes of contraception (which she claimed was influenced by exposure to light).

f. Many terrestrial phenomena are influenced by electromagnetic and gravitational effects originating within the solar system.

Geomagnetic disturbances are particularly correlated with solar storms discharging large clouds of ionic plasma. These solar eddies generally impinge upon the Earth’s magnetosphere about two days after the solar flare causing polar lights, radio interference, and compression of the Earth’s magnetic lines of flux. Fluctuations in solar storm activity follow a cycle averaging 11.2 years and varying from about nine to thirteen years in length. Scientists have correlated solar storm activity to rates of heart attacks, lung disease, eclampsias, and the activity of microbes. (see the book “Effect of Solar Activity on the Frequency of Functional Leukopenias and Relative Lymphocytoses” (NASA). Epidemics of diphtheria, typhus, cholera, and smallpox have also been correlated with solar activity. Much of this work was done between the two world wars by the Russian Scientist Alexander Chizhevsky. In a huge study he drew up lists of wars, epidemics, revolutions, and population movements from 500 BC to 1900 and plotted them against curves of solar activity. He found that 78 percent of these outbreaks correlated with peaks of solar activity. He also found an amazing assortment of correlating phenomena ranging from locust hordes in Russia to succession of liberal and conservative governments in England from 1830 to 1930. Sturgeon in the Caspian Sea reproduce and then die in masses following cycles of 11 and 33 years which occur during periods of many sunspots (solar storms). The great financial crisis of 1929 coincided with a peak in solar activity. Other research has shown correlations between solar activity and the number of road accidents and mining disasters reported. This may be due to delayed or inaccurate human reactions in conjunction with very violent solar activity.

g. Sun spot activity affects the molecular structure of water.

An Italian chemist, Giorgio Piccardi, was asked to figure out why “activated” water dissolves the calcium deposits from a water boiler at certain times and not at others. Activated water is a vestige of alchemy. A sealed phial containing neon and mercury is moved around in the water until the neon lights up; there is no chemical change in the water; however the structure of the molecular bonds are altered somewhat. After years of patient research measuring the rate at which bismuth sulfide becomes a colloid in activated and normal water, Piccardi showed that this colloid-forming rate varies with sunspot activity. A colloid solution is one in which the dissolved particles have large enough molecular weight so that the surface tension of each molecule is of importance in determining the behavior of the solution. Common colloids are glue, gelatin, milk, egg white and blood. (The word colloid is derived from the Greek word kolla, meaning glue.) In general colloidal particles are too big to pass through membranes which will pass smaller dissolved molecules. The influence solar activity exerts upon the molecular structure of water is likely to be even more acute in human organisms as the human body temperature is fixed near the limit where changes in the structure of water normally occur.

h. Sun spot activity affects the molecular structure of blood.

Research by Dr. M. Takata in Japan, since verified in Germany and the Soviet Union, indicates that blood samples showing flocculation (a cloud-like formation) as well as the leukocyte (white blood cell) content of the blood varies in accordance with solar storm activity. This widespread solar influence upon all colloidal substances manifests itself in a wide variety of ways. Individual reaction times, pain felt by amputees, and the number of suicides all reveal a similar variation in response to sunspots. Michael Guaquilin lists numerous ways in which the sunspot cycle effects weather conditions:

During violent solar eruptions, or at the time when important groups of sunspots move to the sun’s central zone, a certain number of disturbances occur in our atmosphere, particularly the aurora borealis, as a result of the greater ionization in the upper atmosphere, and magnetic storms, revealed by violent agitation of compass needles.

The level of Lake Victoria-Nyanza changes in accordance with the rhythm of the sunspots, also the number of icebergs, and famines in India due to lack of rain. The Bulletin Astronomique de France brought out a very interesting article on the relation between the activity of sunspots and the quality of Burgundy wines: excellent vintages correspond with periods of maximum solar activity, and bad vintages with periods of minimum activity. A. Douglass and F. N. Shvedov, have observed that the concentric rings formed in the growth of trees have a period of recurrence of eleven years as well. Finally, there is Ralph Emerson De Lury‘s well-known statistical observation that the number of rabbit skins taken by the Hudson Bay Company follows a curve parallel to that of solar activity.

On this subject, perhaps the most interesting study is that carried out on varves. These say Piccardi, are many-layered deposits of sand or clay which are formed in calm waters, lakes, ponds, swamps, etc., in glacial zones. A varve’s thickness depends on the rainfall in a given year. Examination of these fossilize deposits in sedimentary rock formed through the geological ages reveals the same inevitable eleven year cycle in the most distant past.

i. Potatoes, rats, fiddler crabs, and oysters are all governed by lunar periods.

Frank Brown, an eminent biologist at Northwestern University, Illinois, found that oysters in his laboratory, a thousand miles from their Connecticut shore, opened at the same time as their home shores’ high tide, which in turn is related to the moon’s orbital pattern. Brown also proved that potatoes, rats and fiddler crabs are all governed by lunar periods. He theorizes that the “biological clock” mechanisms observed in organisms can be explained by animals being sensitive to various subtle environmental factors. He also notes that:

“Fluctuations in intensity of primary cosmic rays entering the Earth’s atmosphere were dependent upon the strength of geomagnetism. The magnetic field steadily undergoes fluctuations in intensity. When the field is stronger, fewer primary cosmic rays come into the outer atmosphere; when it weakens, more get in.”

Other researchers have shown influences on the circadian rhythm of electrostatic fields, gamma radiation, x-rays, and weak radio waves. Recent years have shown an upsurge of interest in the ways in which human activity is effected by the remote environment. Scientists around the world who are doing research in this area have been meeting under the auspices of the International Society for Biometeorology.

j. A theoretical model using principles of mathematics and physics may account for human consciousness and process as it relates to the zodiac.

Arthur M. Young, the founder of the Institute for the Study of Consciousness located in Berkeley, California, derived a “geometry of meaning” from the angular relationships that exist between the measure formula of physics. Starting from pure physical and mathematical relationships, Young built an elegant theoretical model that bears an uncanny isomorphism to the twelve signs of the zodiac. He began by plotting the motion of a pendulum (as a representative of simple harmonic motion – the basis of all wave motion) over time on a Cartesian coordinate system. Young derived a formula for the cycle of action or learning that leads to consciousness. If we expand upon the “geometry of meaning,” a twelve measure formula of physics can be created for which the different astrological signs can be assigned according to the appropriateness of the physical and astrological symbolism. It provides a comprehensive metaphor with which to describe the processes of consciousness. It is also suggestive of a metasystem within which one can integrate the diverse disciplines of human endeavor. The theory also leads to a “wholistic” view of the universe, oneself, and humankind.

k. The concept of karma was demonstrated to be a reality in a study which confirmed that acting selflessly has rewards.

Researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Limnology in Germany staged a series of complex computerized social games with 114 students. Their results appear in science magazine Nature. Manfred Milinski and colleagues had the students play two types of games, both using money as an incentive. Each game had six players who were kept anonymous by using pseudonyms. The history of each game was on screen so that the players could see what everyone else was doing, but there was no risk of identification after the game (or when they collected their cash). The central issue in such games is how to sustain a public resource the “tragedy of the commons“. Without controls, individuals tend to use more than their share of the resource, destroying it for everyone. A common way of dealing with this is to punish the greedy people, which acts as an incentive for others to behave. The authors of the German study suggest positive reinforcement as an alternative. If people can see others performing good acts then they are more likely to behave in a publicly beneficial way. Read more about it at this news article.

l. The dung beetle uses the starlight streak of the Milky Way galaxy to find its way home.

At night, the light from the Milky Way galaxy passes through the Earth’s atmosphere and enters the eyes of a small South African beetle rolling a ball of dung. The beetle’s eyes are not sensitive enough to pick out individual stars but it can see the Milky Way as a fuzzy stripe streaking across the night sky. With two of its four eyes, the dung beetle uses our galaxy to find its way home. Dung beetles eat the droppings of other animals and congregate upon piles of fresh dung, gather it into tasty balls then roll it home. Competition at a dung pile is intense and the path home can be long, dangerous and tiring. So, it pays the beetle to keep the straightest possible course. Many insects use the sun’s patterns of polarized light, which are invisible to us, to orient themselves. But keeping a straight line is even harder at night.

“For beetles with poor-resolution compound eyes, it pays to grab a hold of any visual cues in the night sky to help them steer straight,” says Ken Cheng from Macquarie University. Some use the moon, which also produces patterns of polarized light, albeit a million times dimmer than those from the sun. In 2003, Eric Warrant from Lund University found that some dung beetles, which come out at night can use these patterns to keep their paths straight. But one beetle, known as Scarabaeus satyrus, was doing something else. Warrant and his colleague Marie Dacke noticed that even on clear, moonless nights, this species could keep a reasonably straight course. To find out what they are actually seeing, Warrant and Dacke took their beetles to the planetarium at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. This isn’t the first time scientists have brought animals to planetariums to test their navigation. They’ve used these artificial domes to show that indigo buntings, flying south for the winter, navigate by flying away from the North Star. The dung beetles, however, clearly aren’t focusing on a single bright star. Instead, they’re using the collective light of billions of stars from the Milky Way.

5. Conclusion

We have shown that astrology has a scientific, historical, religious, philosophical, and metaphysical basis in reality. Astrology has also played a significant role in many important aspects of the human experience throughout history. In many ways, the current bias against astrology in scientific and religious circles has removed the historical “magic” that once existed in science and religion. Fortunately, quantum theory is restoring some of that “magic” that once existed in science. Near-death experiences are also restoring the “magic” that once existed in both science and religion. The concept of “oneness” which quantum physics and near-death experiences are bringing to science and religion is the heart of astrology. It is the idea that everyone and everything is interconnected to form a single “organism”. We are more than just a physical human body. The Earth, the solar system, the Milky Way galaxy, and the universe are our larger bodies of which we are one.

Edgar Cayce had some interesting insights on this matter that I would like to close with. According to Cayce, at present, humanity is in a state of great spiritual darkness – the darkness which precedes dawn. Humanity developed a level of skepticism that reached a point where it forced humans to make conclusions that they knew was intuitively wrong. At the same time, humanity continued their investigation of natural phenomena to the point where conscious awareness disproved all the higher knowledge that souls had in the beginning. The free will of humanity is discovering that all roads to higher knowledge is leading toward the same destination and conclusions. Scientific, theological, and philosophical knowledge, which has no desire to join forces, are approaching a point of merger. Skepticism faces destruction by its own hand.

Skeptical Argument: Nothing Useful Comes From NDEs

Skeptic’s Argument: “Another problem is that no one who has returned has ever brought back anything useful, such as, for instance, the formula for the compound curing AIDS. All we have is “the purpose of life is to love, and to acquire as much knowledge as possible” stories. That’s nice, but I personally think that a cure for AIDS would be infinitely more expressive of God’s love for humankind than catchy near-death experience books such as Betty Eadie‘s.”

Kevin Williams, B.Sc.: “Skeptics may argue that nobody brings back anything useful from a near-death experience such as a scientific discovery. The skeptic’s argument might resemble something like this: “If people are actually receiving unlimited knowledge during an NDE, then why don’t they bring back with them the cure for AIDS to help humanity? While it’s nice that they have discovered humanity’s purpose in this world is learning to love others, it would be infinitely more expressive of God’s love for humanity if someone would bring back the cure for AIDS.

“Our skeptic presents a very good argument and it’s one that researchers have an answer for. What follows is a discussion of the scientific discoveries brought back by near-death experiencers as told by several near-death researchers. A complete list of scientific advances from NDEs is available on my NDE and Science research conclusions.

“Yes, people do receive higher knowledge and information about cures for diseases such as cancer and AIDS while they are in the light of the NDE. Here are some descriptions:

Virginia Rivers: “The farther forward a person is propelled through the tunnel, the more knowledge can be received. The mind can feel like a sponge, growing and expanding in size with each addition. This knowledge may come in single words and in whole idea blocks. Everything can be understood as it is being soaked up or absorbed. The mind expands and absorbs as each new piece of information comes in. It is receiving knowledge that was already known but forgotten or mislaid, as if it were waiting to be picked up on the way by.” (Virginia Rivers)

Kimberly Clark-Sharp: “The light gave me knowledge, though I heard no words. We did not communicate in English or in any other language. This was discourse clearer and easier than the clumsy medium of language. It was something like understanding math or music – nonverbal knowledge, but knowledge no less profound. I was learning the answers to the eternal questions of life – questions so old we laugh them off as clichés. “Why are we here?” To learn. “What’s the purpose of our life?” To love. I felt as if I was re-remembering things I had once known but somehow forgotten, and it seemed incredible that I had not figured out these things before now.” (Kimberly Clark-Sharp)

Kevin Williams, B.Sc.: “The main problem preventing many people from bringing back some of this higher knowledge attained during an NDE is that it’s difficult to retain every memory of their NDE, assuming it can be remembered at all. This general inability of people being unable to retain every memory from an NDE is similar to our general inability to remember every memory of a dream we have after we wake up. However, this is not to say that higher knowledge and scientific discoveries are not attained during NDEs or dreams.

“Some people having NDEs are cured of the diseases that caused their NDEs to begin with. Mellen-Thomas Benedict died of terminal cancer, had an NDE, and was cured of his cancer. Anita Moorjani died of cancer, had an NDE, and was cured of her cancer. Dr. Kenneth Ring provides an interesting account of a man cured of cancer during his NDE. One quite remarkable instance was shared with Dr. Kenneth Ring by Howard Mikel, Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Wichita State University in Kansas, who investigated this case very thoroughly and can authenticate it. The story, in brief, involved a patient by the name of Ralph Duncan, who in the mid-1970s was dying of leukemia. While he was hospitalized, he had a NDE during which he encountered a luminous being whom he took to be Jesus. Ralph observed that he did not look anything like the traditional images of him. Jesus’ eyes were ‘shooting fire’ and he communicated a telepathic message: ‘That’s enough, it’s dead, it’s gone.’ Ralph understood this to mean that he no longer have leukemia. Through his eyes ‘shooting fire’ and saying ‘That’s enough,’ Ralph understood this to mean in effect, ‘I’ve zapped you with enough voltage for this to cure you.’ Ralph said this is what Jesus meant when he said, ‘It’s dead, it’s gone.’ While these people were not given the cure for cancer, their NDEs show that an NDE can result in a cure for cancer which may be determined in future near-death studies.

“Some people have returned from an NDE and have been able to successfully diagnose and heal people – even bring back useful scientific information – due to the after-effects attributed to their NDEs.

“One example of this is documented in Tom Harpur‘s documentary, Life After Death. Harpur interviews a doctor whose name is Dr. Yvonne Kason who was almost killed in a plane crash into a lake which resulted in an NDE. After she recovered, she began to have strange visions in her mind that she couldn’t explain. One of these visions concerned a friend of hers. When Dr. Kason thought of her friend, she would see a vision in her mind of a “brain covered with pus.” Dr. Kason knew that this was an excellent symbolic vision referring to the deadly disease meningitis. The problem was that her friend was perfectly healthy at the time, exhibited absolutely no signs of meningitis, and there was no reason to suspect she had it. Dr. Kason begged her friend to get tested for meningitis. After an amount of reluctance, her friend got tested. Surprisingly, the test was positive. As a result of Dr. Kason’s NDE, her friend was able to get treated for meningitis at its early stage before it had time to become deadly. Dr. Kason continues to have such visions. She now realizes that, as a result of her NDE, that is now psychic. Her story affirms that useful things are indeed brought back from NDEs.

“Another interesting case is that of Edgar Cayce (pronounced “Kay-see”) (1877-1945), a devout Christian who had regular NDEs and brought back medical cures and information on future events that ultimately came true. In 1910, the New York Times carried two pages of headlines and pictures in which he was declared the “World’s Most Mysterious Man.” In 1954, the University of Chicago accepted a Ph.D. thesis based on a study of his life and work. Cayce is also considered to be the father of holistic medicine by JAMA, the prestigious medical journal. I have a complete list of the world events which Cayce successfully foretold before they occurred.

“Cayce was a wonder to the medical community because of his ability to diagnose and specify a treatment for gravely ill people from hundreds of miles away while out of his body. It is also documented that while in his out-of-body state, Cayce successful predicted the 1929 stock-market crash more than six months before it occurred, the Great Depression, outbreak of the First and Second World Wars, Japan’s sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, the rise and fall of Adolf Hitler, the independence of India, the creation of the State of Israel fifteen years before the event, the deaths of two American presidents, the existence of an unknown Jewish sect called the Essenes eleven years before the Dead Sea Scrolls were found (which was verified through archeological excavations after his death.), invention of the laser in 1958, and his own death before his two sons returned home from overseas. For many decades now, the Edgar Cayce Foundation has been around to research the vast amount of information he received.

“Edgar Cayce is much more than just an example of how one can bring back medical cures, historical facts, and even bring back information from the future while outside of their body.”

P.M.H. Atwater responds to the argument that experiencers do not bring back anything useful:

P.M.H. Atwater: “Not true! A fellow in, I believe it was Sweden, went on to copyright over a hundred inventions that have made a significant difference in society. Mellen-Thomas Benedict invented a glasscutter that alleviates much hand fatigue in accordance to directions he received in his experience. In fact, Mellen-Thomas participated in a number of medical research projects, and because of the information he gave the researchers, they were able to advance their work significantly. He is now doing DNA research and working on instruments that can help physicians use certain frequencies of light in healing. These are just a few of many.

“In my own case, I was told in my third NDE to do the research I do – my directions were specific and detailed. Look at what has resulted! Hardly trivial, I’d say. The reason you seldom hear of people like me and Mellen-Thomas and the fellow from Sweden is that we don’t make spectacles of ourselves. We just do our work.

“Also, please refer to my last three books. All of them have a section devoted to historical figures who had an NDE and who went on to make a significant impact on the world – people like Abraham Lincoln, Mozart, Einstein, Winston Churchill, Queen Elisabeth the First, and Edward de Vere the 17th Earl of Oxford – who may well be the real Shakespeare. I would invite you to look beyond the so-called popular books on NDEs, and do some real digging. You may be surprised at what you find! Please just read my books. I am specific and give references. The answers to most of your questions are addressed.

“Since you mentioned it, I have thought of a number of experiencers who went on to do great things afterward: Donna DeSoto and her Sav-Baby Organization, Dannion Brinkley and his Compassion In Action volunteer service for the dying, Carol Parrish-Harra and the Sparrow Hawk Village she built and the Sancta Sophia Seminary she founded, Nadia McCaffrey and the Natural Death Centers she is starting to construct and staff, George Ritchie and his Universal Youth Corps, and so forth. The line is a long one, no one knows how long for most experiencers seldom seek the limelight.” (P.M.H. Atwater)

Responding to the argument that experiencers do not bring back anything useful, Dr. Kenneth Ring replies:

DR. KENNETH RING: “This question made me laugh because the questioner clearly thinks that the light, or whatever the intelligence is that is behind the NDE, would truly be helpful to humanity if it gave us practical answers to the burning questions of our day. This is like saying, if you are psychic, then how about telling me the winning lottery number? In fact, the light gives us very practical answers – love, especially of the unconditional kind, is probably the thing that could make the world a far, far better place. It wouldn’t end suffering – there will always be suffering – but it would help us enormously to deal with the problems of living. We have brains to help us solve our practical problems – what we need and what we get from the light is something altogether different. It is dangerous, not to say presumptuous, to try to tell God (or the light or Whatever) what we humans could most use. I could probably write on this question for several pages, if I had time, but a close reading of the NDE literature will show what the real value of these experiences is, and it is not finding a cure to AIDS, etc. Nevertheless, it is clearly not even true that no experiencer ever brings back such answers. I give a few examples in my book, Lessons from the Light.

The following are examples, from Dr. Ring’s research, of NDErs bringing back scientific discoveries:

“A somewhat similar case [to Ralph Duncan] was described by Margot Grey. Five days after abdominal surgery, an English patient underwent complications and his wife as told her husband was dying. At that time, however, he was having an NDE, and during it he saw:

“…an entity clothed in a colored cloak [of] indescribably beautiful colors, and brightness most intense. This something stood at the right-hand side of my head, two hands were lightly placed on my body, slowly moved down to my feet, and up the left side, pausing at my head, and then was gone. I have no recollection of anything until [the] next day. From then I made a very rapid recovery and was soon back with my family.” (Margot Grey’s NDE research)

“Again, we seem to have a healing performed within the general context of a light-filled scene.

“Not long ago, some further cases of this kind were shared with me (Dr. Kenneth Ring) by my friend, Steve, who you might remember was himself the recipient of an apparently other-worldly stabilizing treatment rendered by a female light being when Steve experienced a respiratory arrest during surgery (see pp. 37-38 for the full account). Significantly, Steve recently told me that, as in the case of Ralph Duncan, this being had ‘intense blue eyes that shined like they were on fire.’ And as he felt this energy radiating into him, she communicated telepathically to Steve with these thoughts:

“You’re not breathing regularly. There is some concern that your respiration might stop. I’m here to stabilize it, and make sure the problem doesn’t go any further. You are very valuable, and no one is willing to take any chances with your life.”

“In some ways an even more dramatic case that Steve related to me involved a diabetic Mexican woman who speaks no English (Steve is fluent in Spanish) and who, Steve ascertained, was completely unfamiliar with NDEs before her own experience. Here is her story:

“Prior to her experience, she had lost the ability to see. Diabetes had taken away her retina, and her heart wasn’t supplying enough circulation to her brain to allow her to speak. She was in very poor shape. They prepared her for surgery. Open-heart surgery on a diabetic woman of sixty-seven is full of risk. The doctors went outside to discuss their strategy. While they were conferring, she saw the wall open up and a brilliant light pour out. A bearded man in white stepped up beside her. He was made of white light.

“You’re not ready to follow me yet … you’re not prepared. I’m going to give you back your eyesight. You’ll need it to finish your life. And I’m going to heal the heart valve, so you can speak again. You still have a few more things to do. Your grandchildren need you to teach them.”

“According to the woman’s account, he placed his hand on her chest, and her eyesight returned. [Later] she sat in a wheel chair, serene, full of confidence, and smiling. Her legs were gone, but her eyes were clear, and she was happy in a calm way. Her cardiologist later told her:

“Something has happened to change your body. We don’t have an explanation for it. I personally ascribe it to be the will of God. You can go home now. We did nothing.” (Ring, 225-226)”

Dr. Melvin Morse discusses the NDE of a man who developed over 100 patents in molecular chemistry based on the information he received from his NDE:

Dr. Melvin Morse: “I recently discussed these issues with theoretical physicists at the National Institute of Discovery Science. This is a consciousness think tank of national renown scholars in their individual fields. They explained to me that science states that reality is made of tiny nuclear particles, so tiny that it is unclear if they are actually matter or simply patterns of energy. All of the fundamental particles in this universe have at least two counterparts which have been documented as being ‘real’.

“These particles last for only a fraction of a second in this reality, yet they comprise the elemental building blocks of reality. In theory, there are at least three possible universes comprised of the three basic sets of subatomic particles.

“Furthermore, again in theory, there is one possible universe which is called the Omega Point, in which there is no time or space, and all possible universes coexist. This is why physicists such as Niels Bohr said, “Anyone who has not been shocked by quantum physics has not understood it.

Olaf Swenson may have seen such a timeless spaceless Omega Point when he nearly died of a botched tonsillectomy at age 14. He states:

“Suddenly I rolled into a ball and smashed into another reality. The forces that brought me through the barrier were terrific. I was on the other side. I realized that the boundary between life and death is a strange creation of our own mind, very real (from the side of the living), and yet insignificant.”

“Olaf felt he was floating in a universe with no boundaries.

“I had total comprehension of everything. I stood at the annihilation point, a bright orange light. As I felt my mind transported back to my body, I thought, please let me remember this new theory of relativity.” (Melvin Morse)

Dr. Jeffrey Long: “Another concern of NDE skeptics is that experiencers do not return with information or ideas with immediate widespread use, such as a cure for cancer or verifiable new scientific understandings. There have been anecdotal reports suggesting the contrary, but in my experience, experiencers generally do not return with such information. Failure to receive a specific hoped for gift is not a valid criticism of NDEs. The gift experiencers do return with is generally varied and spiritual in nature, often including the concept of love and a lack of fear of death. The gift to experiencers of better understanding love and their purpose on Earth is a very important gift, suggesting these understandings are among the most important things we can accomplish.

“NDE studies provide a tantalizing glimpse of what this other reality is, and provides some clues to humankind‘s deepest questions of who we really are and our relationship with a greater reality. It is entirely reasonable to accept the NDE in the way the experiencers themselves almost uniformly perceive the experience: an encounter with another dimension of reality.

“Science demands verifiable evidence which can be reproduced again and again under experimental situations. Dr. Jim Whinnery, of the Naval Warfare Center, thought he was simply studying the effects of G forces on fighter pilots. He had no idea he would revolutionize the field of consciousness studies by providing experimental proof that NDEs are real.

“The pilots were placed in huge centrifuges and spun at tremendous speeds. After they lost consciousness, after they went into seizures, after they lost all muscle tone, when the blood stopped flowing in their brains, only then would they suddenly have a return to conscious awareness. They had “dreamlets” as Dr. Whinnery calls them. These dreamlets are similar to NDEs. They often involved a sense of separation from the physical body. A typical dreamlet involved a pilot leaving his physical body and traveling to a sandy beach, where he looked directly up at the sun. The pilot remarked that death is very pleasant.” (Jeffery Long)

Kevin Williams, B.Sc.: “In conclusion, experiencers have been healed of caners, given gifts of healing abilities, received knowledge that advances science, but even more important, information about universal love and life after death capable of transforming this planet into a peaceful and loving paradise.” (Kevin Williams)

Scientific Discoveries Come From Near-Death Experiences

Skeptics may argue that nobody brings back anything useful from a near-death experience such as a scientific discovery. The skeptic’s argument might resemble something like this: If people are actually receiving unlimited knowledge during an NDE, then why don’t they bring back with them the cure for AIDS to help humanity? While it’s nice that they have discovered humanity’s purpose in this world is learning to love others, it would be infinitely more expressive of God’s love for humanity if someone would bring back the cure for AIDS.

These are very good skeptical arguments and researchers have answers for them. The following is a discussion of the scientific discoveries brought back by near-death experiencers as told by several near-death researchers. A complete list of scientific advances from NDEs is available on my Skepticism and NDEs page.

Near-death testimonies often include an encounter with a heavenly “Light.” But to my knowledge, no experiencer other than Lynnclaire Dennis (www.mereon.org) has ever brought back a detailed scientific description of the Light’s complex geometric structure and movement. First presented in her 1997 book entitled The Pattern, Lynnclaire described in detail her amazing NDE and description of this Light. Many years have passed since I first learned of her profound NDE and it remains one of the most transcendental NDEs I have ever come across. Her NDE testimony has graced the “Exceptional NDEs” section of my website from its very beginning. We continued to stay in touch over the years and I continued to follow her work hoping what she brought back from her NDE would develop into the scientific discovery we now know it is — the very science of life and living. From the very beginning, despite her religious upbringing, Lynnclaire courageously refused to give this Pattern of Light the ambiguous label of “God“. She prefers to simply call it “The Pattern” and describes it as an all-connecting pattern of Light – a three-dimensional mandala representative of time and space, and the energy generating matter. Because she experienced The Pattern as pure Love, she has always maintained this to be the reason why Love is all that matters. In simple terms, The Pattern is a knot; but not just any knot. The Pattern is the simplest knot (a Trefoil Knot) and yet most profound knot – a never-before-discovered trefoil knot. The Pattern became of great interest to mathematicians, physicists, astrobiologists, and molecular geneticists who developed from it the “Mereon Matrix” – an algorithm representing the unification of knowledge which relies on whole systems both living and life-like. It is a scientific framework charting the sequential, emergent growth process of systems.

People do receive higher knowledge and information about cures for diseases such as cancer and AIDS while they are in the light of the NDE. Here are some descriptions:

“The farther forward a person is propelled through the tunnel, the more knowledge can be received.

“The light gave me knowledge, though I heard no words. I felt as if I was re-remembering things I had once known but somehow forgotten, and it seemed incredible that I had not figured out these things before now.” (Kimberly Clark Sharp)

The main problem preventing many people from bringing back some of this higher knowledge attained during an NDE is that it’s difficult to retain every memory of their NDE, assuming it can be remembered at all. This general inability of people being unable to retain every memory from an NDE is similar to our general inability to remember every memory of a dream we have after we wake up. However, this is not to say that higher knowledge and scientific discoveries are not attained during NDEs or dreams.

Some people have returned from an NDE and have been able to successfully diagnose and heal people – even bring back useful scientific information – due to the after-effects attributed to their NDEs.

One example of this is documented in Tom Harpur‘s documentary, Life After Death.

Another interesting case is that of Edgar Cayce (pronounced “Kay-see”) (1877-1945), a devout Christian who had regular NDEs and brought back medical cures and information on future events that ultimately came true.

Cayce was a wonder to the medical community because of his ability to diagnose and specify a treatment for gravely ill people from hundreds of miles away while out of his body. It is also documented that while in his out-of-body state, Cayce successful predicted the 1929 stock-market crash more than six months before it occurred, the Great Depression, outbreak of the First and Second World Wars, Japan’s sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, the rise and fall of Adolf Hitler, the independence of India, the creation of the State of Israel fifteen years before the event, the deaths of two American presidents, the existence of an unknown Jewish sect called the Essenes eleven years before the Dead Sea Scrolls were found (which was verified through archaeological excavations after his death.), invention of the laser in 1958, and his own death before his two sons returned home from overseas. For many decades now, the Edgar Cayce Foundation has been around to research the vast amount of information he received.

Edgar Cayce is much more than just an example of how one can bring back medical cures, historical facts, and even bring back information from the future while outside of their body.

Dr. PMH Atwater responds to the argument that experiencers do not bring back anything useful:

DR. PMH ATWATER:  Not true!

In my own case, I was told in my third NDE to do the research I do – my directions were specific and detailed. Look at what has resulted! Hardly trivial, I’d say. The reason you seldom hear of people like me and Mellen-Thomas and the fellow from Sweden is that we don’t make spectacles of ourselves. We just do our work.

Also, please refer to my last three books.

Since you mentioned it, I have thought of a number of experiencers who went on to do great things afterward: Donna DeSoto and her Sav-Baby Organization, Dannion Brinkley and his Twilight Bridgade volunteer service for the dying, Carol Parrish-Harra and the Sparrow Hawk Village she built and the Sancta Sophia Seminary she founded, Nadia McCaffrey and the Natural Death Centers she is starting to construct and staff, George Ritchie and his Youth Corps, and so forth. The line is a long one, no one knows how long for most experiencers seldom seek the limelight.

Responding to the argument that experiencers do not bring back anything useful, Dr. Kenneth Ring replies:

DR. KENNETH RING:  This question made me laugh because the questioner clearly thinks that the light, or whatever the intelligence is that is behind the NDE, would truly be helpful to humanity if it gave us practical answers to the burning questions of our day.

For example, the case of Ralph Duncan, who brought back a cure for a certain kind of cancer, and then there is the case of Mellen-Thomas Benedict who brought back a great deal of very practical information about biophotonics and other methods of light-based healing, and is currently marketing some of his devices, after millions of dollars have been invested in his company. So, practical answers that can definitely benefit humanity can sometimes be obtained during NDEs, but, to me, that misses the point.

[Webmaster’s Note: I looked up the reference that Dr. Ring gives from his book, Lessons from the Light. It does show some very interesting examples of how NDErs learn and even experience cures for diseases such as cancer.]

The following are examples, from Dr. Ring’s research, of NDErs bringing back scientific discoveries:

One quite remarkable instance was shared with me by Howard Mikel, Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Wichita State University in Kansas, who investigated this case very thoroughly and can authenticate it. The story, in brief, involved a patient by the name of Ralph Duncan, who in the mid-1970s was dying of leukemia. He apparently was told he had only a short time to live and was prepared to die. But while hospitalized, he had an NDE, and during it, he encountered a luminous being, whom he took to be Jesus (though Ralph observed that it did not look anything like the traditional images of him), and whose eyes were “shooting fire.” In any event, there was then a telepathic communication from this being in the form of three shot phrases, which were: “That’s enough, it’s dead, it’s gone.” These words, Ralph said, were still ringing in his ears as he returned to his body.

Afterward, puzzling about all this, he was mystified about the significance of the phrase, “that’s enough.” But, he continues, “I do know what he meant when he said, “It’s dead.” To me it meant that the germ was dead. I no longer have leukemia.” To my mind, however, the entire set phrases coheres meaningfully in the context of this healing. For instance, when the being, his eyes “shooting fire,” says, “That’s enough,” it means in effect, “I’ve zapped you with enough voltage for this to cure you.” And then, “it’s dead, it’s gone.”

The last I heard about this case, in 1989, Ralph was still hale and living near Boulder, Colorado.

A somewhat similar case was described by Margot Grey.

From then I made a very rapid recovery and was soon back with my family.”

Again, we seem to have a healing performed within the general context of a light-filled scene.

Not long ago, some further cases of this kind were shared with me by my friend, Steve, who you might remember was himself the recipient of an apparently other-worldly stabilizing treatment rendered by a female light being when Steve experienced a respiratory arrest during surgery (see pp. 37-38 for the full account). Significantly, Steve recently told me that, as in the case of Ralph Duncan, this being had “intense blue eyes that shined like they were on fire.” And as he felt this energy radiating into him, she communicated telepathically to Steve with these thoughts:

“You’re not breathing regularly. There is some concern that your respiration might stop. I’m here to stabilize it, and make sure the problem doesn’t go any further. You are very valuable, and no one is willing to take any chances with your life.”

In some ways an even more dramatic case that Steve related to me involved a diabetic Mexican woman who speaks no English (Steve is fluent in Spanish) and who, Steve ascertained, was completely unfamiliar with NDEs before her own experience. Here is her story:

Prior to her experience, she had lost the ability to see.

According to the woman’s account, he placed his hand on her chest, and her eyesight returned. [Later] she sat in a wheel chair, serene, full of confidence, and smiling. Her legs were gone, but her eyes were clear, and she was happy in a calm way. Her cardiologist later told her:

“Something has happened to change you body. We don’t have an explanation for it. I personally ascribe it to be the will of God. You can go home now. We did nothing.” (Ring, 225-226)

Dr. Melvin Morse discusses the NDE of a man who developed over 100 patents in molecular chemistry based on the information he received from his NDE:

DR. MELVIN MORSE:  I recently discussed these issues with theoretical physicists at the National Institute of Discovery Science. This is a consciousness think tank of national renown scholars in their individual fields. They explained to me that science states that reality is made of tiny nuclear particles, so tiny that it is unclear if they are actually matter or simply patterns of energy. All of the fundamental particles in this universe have at least two counterparts which have been documented as being “real”.

These particles last for only a fraction of a second in this reality, yet they comprise the elemental building blocks of reality. In theory, there are at least three possible universes comprised of the three basic sets of subatomic particles.

Furthermore, again in theory, there is one possible universe which is called the Omega Point, in which there is no time or space, and all possible universes coexist.

Olaf felt he was floating in a universe with no boundaries.

“I had total comprehension of everything. I stood at the annihilation point, a bright orange light. As I felt my mind transported back to my body, I thought, please let me remember this new theory of relativity.”

Dr. Jeffrey Long of NDERF.org states:

DR. JEFFREY LONG:  Another concern of NDE skeptics is that experiencers do not return with information or ideas with immediate widespread use, such as a cure for cancer or verifiable new scientific understandings.

NDE studies provide a tantalizing glimpse of what this other reality is, and provides some clues to humankind’s deepest questions of who we really are and our relationship with a greater reality. It is entirely reasonable to accept the NDE in the way the experiencers themselves almost uniformly perceive the experience: an encounter with another dimension of reality.

Science demands verifiable evidence which can be reproduced again and again under experimental situations. Dr. Jim Whinnery, of the Naval Warfare Center, thought he was simply studying the effects of G forces on fighter pilots. He had no idea he would revolutionize the field of consciousness studies by providing experimental proof that NDEs are real.

The pilots were placed in huge centrifuges and spun at tremendous speeds. After they lost consciousness, after they went into seizures, after they lost all muscle tone, when the blood stopped flowing in their brains, only then would they suddenly have a return to conscious awareness. A typical dreamlet involved a pilot leaving his physical body and traveling to a sandy beach, where he looked directly up at the sun. The pilot remarked that death is very pleasant.

In conclusion, experiencers are given gifts of healing abilities, knowledge that advances science, but even more important, information about universal love and life after death capable of transforming this planet into a peaceful and loving paradise.

The Science of Life Discovered From Lynnclaire Dennis’ NDE

We continued to stay in touch over the years and I continued to follow her work hoping what she brought back from her NDE would develop into the scientific discovery we now know it is – the very science of life and living. So when she invited me to write the Preface to her new book, Discovering Your Youniverse and Living Plan Be, I jumped at the opportunity.

From the very beginning, despite her religious upbringing, Lynnclaire courageously refused to give this Pattern of Light the ambiguous label of “God”. The Pattern is the simplest and most profound knot as you will discover in this article.

While Lynnclaire was still investigating The Pattern, she met Nechung Kuten of Tibet who is the spiritual advisor to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He told her The Pattern is a “terma” – a Tibetan word for “a hidden treasure meant to be disclosed to the world at this time.” Following his advice, Lynnclaire published her NDE testimony and then took this geometric Pattern to the world of science. Nechung Kunten knew scientists would have the knowledge to confirm what the Pattern might be – a viable candidate as “the Source of all creation” leading to a possible solution to the Theory of Everything – the unifying principle of the realm of quantum physics. So without denying her otherworldly experience, Lynnclaire placed The Pattern’s geometric structure into the hands of such scientists as a gift to humanity and the world. I have done extensive research into The Pattern and what follows is my perspective on how this gift is currently changing the world.

1. Lynnclaire Dennis’ NDE and Mission in Life as a Catalyst for Change, for Love

On January 15, 1987 while hot-air ballooning in the Swiss Alps, Lynnclaire Dennis along with her fiancée and a friend who was piloting their balloon, unwittingly climbed to an altitude of 17,000 feet causing Lynnclaire to lose consciousness resulting in perhaps the most important NDE ever documented. During her NDE, Lynnclaire encountered an incredibly beautiful and loving Light she instinctively understood to be “The Pattern” of all life. In her book, The Pattern, Lynnclaire explains what she saw:

“And then, in one ephemeral glimpse, I saw the Pattern, the single strand of the tapestry I knew was the essence woven through matter in every reality. Its design was so complexly simple that I knew it could only have been fashioned in the exalted intricacy of infinity. Seeing the Pattern, I knew I was looking at life itself. It was light; it was time and space. It was the energy of all matter, the heart of all that mattered. It was the very essence of all being. It emanated from Source, illuminated to my mind by “the Source behind the sun” as it moved in perfect harmony with all the universe. As I prepared to meld into the Source of Light and absolute Love, I knew with all my being that the Pattern was the core of all substance. I knew that the MUSIC emanating from the Pattern was the song of my heart, a testament of unconditional Love. The single step I had taken was the first in a dance that would take me into the single point of Infinite Light, which contained the power of Love that would forever illuminate my mind and heart.”

During her life review, Lynnclaire was informed of her mission in life – a rare occurrence in NDEs – because often the experiencer is told they cannot know it or that they will be made to forget it upon return. In Lynnclaire’s case, a Being of Light she refers to as “The Presence” reveals to her a special mission she was to perform:

“The last person to walk on the stage of my life was a man unknown to me … Although I was certain this was not someone I knew, I could feel him at the depths of my soul. He began to speak, communicating directly to my heart. The message he shared that day was engraved on both my mind and my soul.”

‘Lynnclaire, you will be a catalyst for change, for love. You will bring forth, hold, and honor remembrance. You will bring to conscious awareness the realms, realities, and remnants in order that the spirit may remember the dance.’

“I knew this was Truth … Yet, when he turned to leave, instead of following the others and walking off the stage through the door to my left, he turned toward the right. As I watched him return through the doorway from which he had entered, I clearly recall thinking this was important. Since that day I’ve identified him as ‘The Presence.'”

When Lynnclaire was resuscitated from her NDE, she knew this Pattern of Love and Light had changed her life forever. But what she did not yet know was how this transcendental Pattern was going to change the world.

On February 7, 1987, three weeks after her first NDE, Lynnclaire had a second NDE that was more profound than the first. In her first NDE, she was “hauled back” to Earth “against her will”; but In her second NDE she was allowed to make a choice while in eternity. At this juxtaposition of time and space, she made a conscious decision to return to her body, having no idea it would take four long and arduous years to remember exactly what it was she had seen. Over the years she would have to put all her pre-existing beliefs on the “back burner” – the most difficult belief to put away was her reluctance to trust the mystical aspects of her own being.

Then in 1991, Lynnclaire began having exceedingly clear, vivid and absolutely real recurring lucid dreams that would propel her back the Other Side to view The Pattern again and again. This brought more subconscious memories of The Pattern into her consciousness. She writes:

“Through my dream state, I had again made a sojourn into another realm, a dimension that usually remains invisible unless a divine light illumines its presence… In my dream, I moved toward the light, heading for the end of what I knew was the same tunnel I had voyaged through four years before… Leading me gently by the hand she (her guide) assured me that I had nothing to fear and I knew that I was not going to die… Hand in hand, my guide and I ventured to the end of the tunnel where we looked out into the universe. It was there, standing on the precipice of eternity, that I saw the fields of time and space merge. There, poised on the edge of infinity, I again saw The Pattern – a matrix that was somehow singular yet as vast as the stars.”

Lynnclaire’s life review and aftereffects of her NDE indicates she is on a mission to be a catalyst for Love. Her NDE validates how positive change is the by-product of this Love. I have no doubt her role in the future of this planet will be significant as it is already turning out to be the case. For several decades now, Lynnclaire and her team have spent time understanding how The Pattern can solve problems in quantum physics, mathematics, psychology, politics, and education. There are also implications of other possible solutions that are, quite frankly, mind-boggling.

2. The Geometric Shape of The Pattern as the “Mereon Matrix”

In developing the science behind The Pattern, Lynnclaire and others gave The Pattern the scientific name of the “Mereon Matrix“, hereafter referred to as “Mereon”. The source of the word “Mereon” was derived from “Mer-eon” where “eon” is a reference to “epoch” – a measure of time. “Mere” in English means “small” and is French for “mother” which gives Mereon a feminine connotation similar to “Gaia”. Implicit in “Mereon” is the word “merry” as in being full of joy. “Matrix” is a mathematical term referring to an array of numbers, symbols, or expressions.

While Lynnclaire’s NDE is remarkable in and of itself, what is even more remarkable is how she was able to accurately map such a structure as Mereon in its complexity as visualized in 3D animations. Her experience with Mereon is unparalleled in how scientists have reconciled it with proven laws and theories of mathematics and physics. Their conclusions suggest the potential of a unique energy source arising from Mereon’s toroid field.

In 1995 Lynnclaire’s description of Mereon’s geometric structure became of interest to top scientists around the world who were interested in its unique knotted topology and the geometrical structure it generates. Dr. Louis H. Kauffman, the world-renown mathematician and knot theorist from the University of Chicago, joined Lynnclaire as the second principle investigator. Dr. Kauffman’s research includes knot theory’s relationship with quantum theory, statistical mechanics, algebra, and combinatorics. He and others view Mereon as an algorithm that can used to generate a large number of both living and non-living systems whether they are physical, mathematical, or philosophical.

A scholarly book about the Mereon Matrix written by Lynnclaire and her team was published in Elsevier, the world’s leading provider of science and health information. In this book, the authors presented the “First Principles”, Mereon translated into twelve functional terms. Their goal was to define a rigorous General Systems Theory and in the process demonstrate it to be “universal”. Finding a connection between Mereon’s geometry and physics is remarkable, especially because it originated from Lynnclaire, an individual having no knowledge of geometry, knot theory or science. The Mereon knot’s polyhedra structure originating from her NDE reveals Lynnclaire’s greatest ability is in Pattern recognition; In particular, the Mereon Pattern.

In general terms, Mereon has the shape of a trefoil knot which “lives” on a torus (a donut-like shape.) In specific terms, Mereon as a whole is a dual polyhedra: one polyhedron inside another. The inner most polyhedron is diamond-like; has 144 triangular faces and grows to 300. In its dynamics, light emerges from 48 vertices. The outer polyhedron is watery, akin to a bubble; it has 120 triangular faces and grows to 180 faces. In the space between the two polyhedra, the energetic interconnection between the two, ties into multiple Pattern knots.

The 120/180 polyhedra Mereon defines 10 tetrahedra; five cubes; five icosahedron; five octahedron; one dodecahedron; five rhombic dodecahedrons; one rhombic triacontahedron; and one scaled icosahedron that “hides” the entire Matrix. With every “breath” Mereon produces ten dodecahedra.

In my view, much of this is compatible with the knotted pattern believed to define 10-dimensional space in Superstring Theory which is one of the candidates of the so-called Theory of Everything. Furthermore, Mereon unites all the building blocks of nature – not just once as described above – but twice. It is also noteworthy how one perspective of the Pattern resembles the atom as drawn and described by the great Danish physicist Niels Bohr. Mereon instantly transforms the concept of the awesome power of the atom, which the world has long feared, into the Source that generates the forces we know that holds everything, including atoms, together. That this Source can be called Love is truly remarkable.

There is an overwhelming consensus among experiencers, including Lynnclaire, that Love is supreme. Love is the Source we came from; and where we return to after death. As Lynnclaire says, “Perfect is what we are, not something any of us can do. Learning to be loving is, for me, what life is all about.” I couldn’t agree more. I view life as an opportunity to understand divine perfection, goodness and love in action. Life is certainly a “school” and the important lessons are learned through understanding relationships as the Mereon Matrix makes clear. Think about how a simple smile has the power to start a chain reaction that changes the whole world. Lynnclaire has learned that Love defined as “Understanding realized through diversity” is essential to Unity. It’s product is how we can spread love throughout the world. The opportunity to spread love to others is to understand that transformation begins at home by first loving ourselves. The principles defined in the Mereon Matrix can help us learn to love ourselves and others while improving our lives and changing the course of history for the better. The simple secret to improving humanity is to make “loving the Universal” the measuring stick to measure our attitudes and actions.

3. Mereon as an Archetypal Solution to the “Theory of Everything”

When viewed from multiple perspectives, The Pattern reflects mathematical symbols and the iconic symbols of the major world religions. According to Dr. Kauffman:

“The fact that you can see many different forms in it as you turn it around makes it very beautiful for teaching purposes. You can say to people, ‘Here is something that if you look at it one way shows you the Star of David, and if you turn it another way shows you the Yin-Yang, and if you turn it again you see the crescents sacred to Islam, the symbol for infinity, and the conventional image of an atom. And they’re really all the same thing.’ Mathematics is slowly teasing out those kinds of patternings by stepping carefully and slowly through various structures that give rise to puzzles. Those puzzles become centers of attention for people, and from them we begin to understand how everything is knitted together in the universe.”

Lynnclaire’s revelation of Mereon as a pattern of love and universal connectivity is certainly proving to be true. Her long assertion that “spirituality and science are one and the same” is in accord with other NDE experiencers who are also returning with scientific discoveries. Indeed, Mereon is a catalyst for bringing about spiritual and scientific unity. The co-authors of The Mereon Matrix published by Elsevier consider Mereon to be a bridge linking physics and metaphysics, human conscience and consciousness.

Historically, one of the most significant mathematical discoveries was the Platonic Solids, a well-known class of geometric shapes and polyhedra named after the Greek philosopher Plato in whose writings they appear. These Platonic Solids, along with the Kepler Solids, are the fundamental geometric solids for which all other geometric solids are subsets. Researchers discovered that all of these solids are also fundamental to Mereon’s structure.

The science behind Mereon is in harmony with Pythagoras, perhaps the first great mathematician, who believed the cosmos is divided into 10 heavens based on the perfect number 10. In Jewish mysticism, God’s entire creation is composed of 10 emanations of Light from the 10 utterances of God “Let there be” to create the world by the perfect order of 10 along with a hierarchy of 10 angelic realms and the law of the 10 commandments. The Biblical prophet Enoch in his writings (2 Enoch) mentions that he ascended through the 10 heavens. In Buddhism, there are 10 levels of realization toward enlightenment and 10 directions of the Buddha’s light to ten Buddha-realms. Christian Gnostics believed in a cosmology of 10 heavens which they based on information from the NDE of the Apostle Paul which they recorded in their scriptures (see The Apocalypse of Paul). In Islam, an oral tradition exists where Muhammad journeyed through 10 heavens which was more than likely an NDE because of his wife’s statement that Muhammad’s body remained with her the entire time. America’s so-called “sleeping prophet”, Edgar Cayce, learned from his thousands of self-induced out-of-body journeys how our solar system’s 10 major spheres (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) are three-dimensional representations of invisible higher and lower dimensional afterlife realms.

4. Mereon and the Pattern of Synchronicity

When I wrote the Preface to Lynnclaire’s book, “Discovering Your Youniverse and Living Plan Be,” I decided to give it the title of “Synchronicity” for two reasons. The first reason is because Lynnclaire’s life is filled with synchronicities; and from my perspective, this reveals she has a continual connection with the underlying Source that gives rise to the forces of nature. It reveals she is “caught up” in the flow of an intelligent and benevolent universe. The second reason comes from a personal and deeply meaningful experience I had involving a synchronicity intersecting my life with Lynnclaire’s.

For those of you who are not aware of the term “synchronicity“, it is a concept developed in the 1920s by Carl G. Jung, the famous Swiss psychologist and NDE experiencer. Synchronicity is an experience of two or more events that are meaningfully related, but are apparently not causally related; and are viewed as a meaningful coincidence. Jung developed the phenomenon of synchronicity after meeting with Wolfgang Pauli – a Nobel Laureate who made important contributions to the development of quantum mechanics. The physical basis of the phenomenon of synchronicity is that time can be viewed as a dynamic connective link of patterns expressed every single moment with equal patterns around the world aligning with each other. Pauli extended this principle to the whole cosmos which can be perceived as one great system of patterns at equilibrium. In theory, whenever you move an object, you change the entire universe in all-encompassing synchronicity.

My synchronicity with Lynnclaire came about in 1997 after reading her first book The Pattern (which I highly recommend reading.) Her book and experience so astonished me, I spent a lot time afterward talking about it with my parents. They were more than skeptical about NDEs at the time and concerned about my obsession with them. Shortly after talking with them, they went on vacation to Monterey Bay, California. Upon returning home, they sat me down and told me about an incident that occurred while they were there. The incident they described was as stunning to me as much as the incident was stunning to them.

While shopping in the city of Carmel they wandered into a book store and there, to their great amazement, was Lynnclaire getting ready to make a presentation about her book The Pattern. Their vacation intersected with Lynnclaire’s one and only book tour. Their experience of synchronicity was a turning point for my parents as they began to take seriously what I had been telling them about NDEs.

5. Bringing Mereon Into Scientific Reality

Lynnclaire first experienced the Pattern during an NDE in 1987. She spent the next four years struggling to regain her health and remember The Pattern she experienced. This culminated in a lucid dream (auspiciously on February 14, 1991, Valentine’s Day) after which she was able to fully recall and draw the Mereon Matrix as a Trefoil Knot. That same year she began using the knot as a model to understand the flow of time and to gain perspective relative to relationships and social organizations. Through a series of amazing synchronicities, she spent the 1992-1994 living in a monastic retreat where she was able to fully reflect upon Mereon and her purpose in life before setting out to do what would seem impossible to most people: launch a scientific investigation into Mereon. In December of 1995, Lynnclaire began a quest to recruit scientists to quantify Mereon which she knew had important scientific implications. She sent letters to the directors of every supercomputing center in the U.S., one of whom was Dr. Tom De Fanti, an internationally recognized pioneer in visualization and virtual reality technologies. As the director of the pre-eminent supercomputer center at the University of Illinois, the Electronic Visualization Lab (EVL), he recognized the picture she sent was a special knot. De Fanti then contacted Dr. Louis Kauffman who became captivated by Mereon as a knot he had never encountered before. So he contacted Lynnclaire and after their first meeting the scientific investigation began.

In March of 1997, Kauffman and Lynnclaire presented Mereon at the University of Illinois before the American Society for Cybernetics. According to the imminent cyberneticist and systems theorist, Gregory Bateson, Cybernetics is a branch of mathematics dealing with problems of control, recursiveness, and information, focusing on forms and the patterns that connect. Dr. Bateson, whose lifelong search for the pattern of patterns connecting all other patterns, once said, “The pattern that connects is a Pattern of patterns.” One of the most profound discoveries of Mereon is that it is indeed “the Pattern of patterns.”

6. The Sequoia Symposium: Calling the First Scientific Dialgoues to Explore the Pattern, the Mereon Matrix

When the scientific investigation grew to a critical mass, Kauffman and Lynnclaire and three others co-founded the Sequoia Symposium. In March of 1998, the Sequoia Symposium’s first formal conference was held in the San Francisco Bay Area to investigate Mereon. An impressive group of fifty scientists and theorists from many disciplines came from around the world to attend the conference. The meetings continue to this day, although the last “formal” Sequoia Symposium was held in 1999.

Robert W. Gray is a mathematician, physicist and recognized expert in the geometry of Buckminster Fuller, the renowned architect, systems theorist and futurist who coined the term “Synergetics“. Gray immediately saw a correlation between Mereon’s system of complex polyhedron and Fuller’s geometric forms and designed software that generated animated proofs validating Mereon’s geometric precision. Since 1998, Gray has modeled thousands of images revealing how Mereon unites the fundamental, geometric building blocks of nature. Lynnclaire’s book, The Mereon Matrix, shows specifically how the core center of Mereon matches the theories regarding the atomic nucleus.

Main Conclusions Drawn From The Sequoia Symposium

  1. In reference to sound and light, Mereon is a complex, dynamic, spinning and vibrating geometric form.
  2. Mereon’s dynamic structure reveals the presence and simplicity of multiple realties.
  3. Mereon is a “breathing” living structure and may be the blueprint of consciousness.
  4. In reference to physics, Mereon’s 120/180 triangular facet structure may be the “mother” of all physical matter.
  5. Mereon suggests a bridge between science and metaphysics in how substance, symbol and process are one.
  6. Because the knowledge of Mereon originated from an NDE, this has implications for the human understanding of life and death.
  7. Dialogues about Mereon continue on a regular basis around the world involving many academic and scientific disciplines.
  8. Mereon defines all the fundamental forms, the building blocks of the universe.
  9. Mereon includes cultural, philosophical, mathematical, and religious symbols. It is universal.
  10. Mereon charts the complex dynamics of living and non-living, life-like, systems.
  11. The multi-disciplinary knowledge gained from Mereon fulfills Albert Einstein’s vision that “the most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible.”
  12. Mereon is a catalyst for developing new theories about how the universe works.
  13. The mathematics of Mereon’s spheres can be described as connected spiraling rainbows producing the Music that Lynnclaire heard during her NDE and continues to hear.
  14. The fact that the “prime frequency” of Mereon – derived from the mathematics of Mereon’s dynamics – generates the same geometric knot in water is mind boggling to researchers who are now exploring the Mereon Matrix’s relationship with sound, light, time, matter, and gravity.
  15. Mereon is an articulation of fundamental creative processes on both the microscopic and macroscopic scale including those involving human beings. In this regard, we might consider the human being to be a microcosm of the universe.
  16. Because of its scaling factor, Mereon may be leading us to an understanding of what Lynnclaire calls a “DynaVerse”: a meta-multiuniversal system.
  17. Mereon reveals the Unity behind apparent diversity.
  18. The investigation of Mereon includes and exceeds mathematics, science and art. This agrees with Albert Einstein’s view that, “The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.”
  19. Mereon provides a deep understanding of the relationship between a chaotic system and an observer.
  20. The re-discovery of unity and the space residing behind all conflict provides humans with the power to transform.
  21. Mereon compels us to examine what is going on in our world; showing us how to innovate for new solutions.
  22. The implications of Mereon’s existing and potential applications are practical and are already making a positive difference in this world.
  23. Mereon offers us a new beginning. Lynnclaire states: “Mereon is pure Gold; every point, plane, layer and angle is based in the ratio known as the Golden Mean, the Divine Proportion that guides all creation. But it’s even more: Mereon defines a rational Golden Ratio, a repeating fraction. As she weaves through all life, Mereon shows us how health, physical, emotional, psychological, instinctual and spiritual follows this beautiful geometric dance. The intention of the Mereon Legacy CIC, a UK based nonprofit, is to generate benefits that improve the quality of life for humanity and the planet. By expanding understanding we can live and share a common purpose, living the unity that Mereon implies as we explore our innate and unbreakable interconnection.”

7. The Ongoing Academic Scientific Investigation of the Mereon Matrix

In January 1999, The Sequoia Symposium met at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. There Lynnclaire, Louis Kauffman and others presented Mereon to a group of mathematicians, physicists, philosophers, medical personnel and other professionals. These scholars were gathered for the purpose of understanding Mereon’s intricate geometry in decoding the basic structure of the universe and in searching for the grand unified theory of physics. Along with its scientific applications, members of the Symposium believe research into Mereon’s structure might led to a higher awareness of the Earth as a whole system whose ecology is best understood as a living organism rather than a repository of natural resources to be exploited. Foster Gamble, the President and co-founder of the Thrive Movement, envisions practical applications of Mereon including:

  1. The creation of stronger building materials and structures with less consumption of resources.
  2. Achieving breakthroughs in the understanding of cellular and molecular structure, promoting healing and possibly preventing the formation of tumors.
  3. Incorporating the same energy principles of harmony from Mereon into our lives for better human relations by applying them to psychology, interpersonal communication and the human connection of love that is the heart of our essence.

Foster writes, “Lynnclaire is a walking commitment to that evolutionary imperative for humanity, and serves as a leader toward that purpose, stepping up to fill whatever role is most effective in that moment. She acts in the world with great compassion, astounding intuition, and a grounded professional sense. I have no doubt that this is why she was shown the Pattern, and why she came back to live here a while longer.”

Dr. Ashok Gangadean, Professor of Philosophy at Haverford College, Haverford, Pennsylvania, commented that, “The Pattern is the key to our survival, healing, wellbeing, and human flourishing.”

8. Mereon as a Template for Modeling Human Clinical Molecular Genetics

In 2000, Peter McNair and Jytte Brender McNair joined the Mereon Team. Peter McNair, an MD with a doctorate in Medical Science, is a specialist in biochemical pathology. Jytte Brender McNair brought a scientific focus relative to theoretical and practical aspects of research in biochemistry, computer science and medical informatics. Following his work experience with the Mereon Team, Peter McNair worked as director for a diagnostic laboratory in clinical genetics where he realized there were separate models for particular specialties in molecular genetics. He asked his wife, Jytte, to see if the Mereon process might be used as a model that could help organize the vast amount of information within the field of genetics. Her investigation in 2008-2009 demonstrated that it could. Peter and Jytte McNair then became authors of a study on genetics called ATCG to apply the Mereon system as an information model in clinical genetics which exceeded all expectations. Mereon’s seven functions and its fractal principle were applied using the latest original molecular genetics literature as the source of domain information. ATCG was elaborated through all seven functions with each further explored through its micro-functions. Mereon was extremely useful as a modeling tool because it constantly forced the team to pose specific questions with respect to the topics inherent at different micro-functions. This allowed the team to search for answers in the literature using an iterative and incremental modeling process. Upon completing the project it was concluded that Mereon as a template for modeling human molecular genetics met and exceeded what the team anticipated.

9. Mereon is Applied to Map the Formation of Matter Since the Big Bang

The second law of thermodynamics states that if there were no generating, driving, creative “force” of energy/information behind the Big Bang flowing into this universe, the pattern structure of our universe would have decayed. And although mainstream scientists generally avoid quantifying the nature of this driving force arising outside of spacetime, it is safe to assume such a creative force exists and is the force behind our universe of patterns and geometry. Mathematicians simply refer to this force as “pregeometry” while physicists refer to it as “pre-space” or “void“. Since ancient times, people have referred to this force as “God”. In near-death studies, experiencers such as Lynnclaire have described this creative force as a nonlocal, spaceless and timeless dimension that is the source of all creation including knowledge and consciousness. Jung and Pauli have defined the foundation beyond spacetime as “archetypes” or formless patterns which become meaningful symbols for those who consciously become aware of them.

Concerning consciousness, the brain itself is like a dynamic pattern recognizer whose primary function is to convert the patterns it receives into electrochemical feedback to the body which alters the body’s behavior. Recognizing patterns and symbols is what the brain does best. In ancient times, the symbols used for numbers and letters were considered sacred and closely connected to patterns existing beyond the physical world. In modern times, science uses mathematics to study the patterns of nature without really focusing on the WHY the universe operates on mathematical laws and patterns. From a NASA probe (WMAP) launched in 2001, cosmologists now believe the shape of the universe is finite with the geometry of a 3-dimensional torus (a doughnut shape) composed of interpenetrating levels. The torus shape is a vortex and has fractal characteristics to it. It is the most common shape found in nature. In mathematics, the area of specialization dealing with patterns such as the torus is known as knot theory. Kauffman believes knot theory may be the best way to find the underlying reality between the universe and patterns found within it.

If a torus is divided into regions, then it is always possible to color the regions with no more than seven colors so that neighboring regions have different colors. Arthur Young, who viewed the universe as a process purposely set in motion, believed the seven-colored regions of a torus might correspond to seven steps in its three-dimensional process. Other even more basic sources of the principle of seven expressed in three dimensions may be realized when processes such as the “Laws of Form” as developed by Dr. George Spencer-Brown are studied further. The Laws of Form, at once a work of mathematics and of philosophy, emerged from Spencer-Brown’s work in electronic engineering and mathematical logic around 1960. Spencer-Brown referred to the mathematical system of Laws of Form as the “primary algebra” and the “calculus of indications.” Laws of Form have influenced Kauffman who modified and extended its primary algebra with interesting consequences. Kauffman’s research into how Mereon is brought into three dimensions agrees with Lynnclaire’s description of it as a universal symbol of the energy of creation which she experienced as pure love.

In 2007, Neville “Nick” Woolf, Emeritus Professor in Astronomy from University of Arizona, joined the Mereon Team and began working to identify the sequential functions of Mereon. He was the main force in developing the team’s first scholarly peer-reviewed article. It was published in Foundations of Science and is entitled “A Framework Linking Non-Living and Living Systems: Classification of Persistence, Survival and Evolution Transitions.” This article describes the fundamental processes of Mereon as a method to analyze and improve the survivability of all systems, living, non-living or organized groups. The article predicts how Mereon has the potential to be applied to areas of research including: the exploration of the origin of life, the search for life beyond Earth, a better understanding of the process of evolution, and a better way to understand and correct social systems not functioning well.

In 2011, Woolf gave his first presentation of the origin of life entitled, “Living and Non-Living Dissipative Systems“, using Mereon to map the development of life beginning with the Big Bang. Woolf presented his perspective on this work to packed audiences at the Carnegie Institute, NASA and the SETI Institute.

10. Mereon as the Foundation for a New Educational System

To say that Lynnclaire is passionate about education is an understatement: not only of children, but for adults, to become Lifelong learners. In regard to social applications using Mereon, Lynnclaire’s prime concern and priority today is to bring coherence to educational systems in crisis around the world. Her approach to education is in line with Socrates’ view that the purpose of education is to “kindle the flame.” In 2003, seeing how schools extinguish this flame by putting children in a “one-size-fits-all” box, Lynnclaire used Mereon to articulate a way to revision learning. She designed a program called “BeLonging” which begins with reviving the hearts and minds of teachers and then shifts to the social dimension of the classroom. While teachers facilitate learning, the “game” she developed allows students to both learn and lead by accepting responsibility for an array of tasks that make their learning environment workable and fun. A key advantage of BeLonging is that it does not infringe upon the curriculum: the formal dimension of the learning environment.

In 2004, Lynnclaire’s BeLonging program was introduced into schools in Italy with great success. It is now in its 10th year of operation. BeLonging promotes diversity, open-mindedness and fosters unity. After visiting the Lynnclaire’s educational program in Italy, a businessman from Switzerland named P. Schenker stated, “BeLonging is to education what Google is to the Internet!”

In 2005, Lynnclaire designed a program for a class of thirty-three high school seniors in Germany. After finishing the course, their burning question was “Why wasn’t our entire learning experience like this?”

Using the Mereon process, what Lynnclaire refers to as a technology of Mindfulness, she also articulated an applied model for business renewal and development that focuses on an array of competence leading to conscious cooperation.

11. Mereon and the Emergence of Cymatic Science Using the CymaScope

Lynnclaire is one of many NDE experiencers who describe hearing transcendentally beautiful, heavenly music during their NDE. Lynnclaire was blessed to be able to remember this music and it still brings tears of joy to her eyes. She originally described this music as emanating from The Pattern and used words such as: “sublimely perfect, a celestial symphony of angels, the song of the universe, the Music of the Spheres, a resonant vibration coursing through her essence, a song whose mystical tone her entire being knew and sang, playing on unseen instruments of peace, the song of her heart and a testament of unconditional love.” Insights from other experiencers about this heavenly music includes: a revelation that the universe was created using the tools of music, harmony, and balance; and that everything is kept in place by this all-pervading vibration of God. Perhaps the most interesting aftereffect from NDE is that she has the rare ability to see sound. Her special gift is powerfully evident in much of her art work which she describes as ”Essence Illumined”. Painting the inexplicable has kept inner world vibrant through her many healing experiences.

Lynnclaire has long held The Pattern to be a living structure generating tonal frequencies that are important to the dynamic balance of the planet. This agrees with the ancients who believed there is something about tonal music that puts it in tune with the entire universe; thus making it a real source of healing and regeneration.

In August 2012, the Mereon principle investigators initiated cymatic research meeting with John Stuart Reid who invented the CymaScope – a technology which imprints sonic vibrations on the surface of ultra-pure water. Because vibration underpins all matter, the implications of the CymaScope’s results affect every branch of science. Using Reid’s technology and skills, the team’s long ambition of making the invisible Mereonic realm visible in water through sound was realized (see this video). The visible patterns of Mereon observed in the CymaScope agree with Robert Gray’s modeling. Mereon’s exact vibrational patterns are clearly visible in 3D beneath the water’s surface.

For a profound meditational experience, watch the video of Mereon appearing in water.

For years, people have called elements in Lynnclaire’s unique style of art “Christmas ornaments”. You can see how she captures the same geometric patterns that appear when viewing Mereon through the CymaScope by visiting Lynnclaire’s Mereon Art Gallery.

12. “The Mereon Matrix; Unity, Perspective and Paradox” is Published by Elsevier, the World’s Leading Provider of Science and Health Information

Lynnclaire once said that she has Ph.D.’s in chutzpah, tenacity and audacity. This was proven true in May of 2013 when her book entitled The Mereon Matrix: Unity, Perspective and Paradox was published by Elsevier – the world’s leading provider of science and health information. This scholarly work gives scientific and academic researchers the basics of a universal system. The fact that it took 601 pages, a quarter of a million words, 1500 images and 45 animations to present the basics of Mereon, makes it clear that the complexity of the science behind the Mereon Matrix is as deep as the Mereon Trefoil Knot is simple. While this book is intense, Lynnclaire and her co-authors address many serious problems facing humanity today and suggest how Mereon can help us make innovative resolutions and solutions.

In The Mereon Matrix, Lynnclaire makes the case that because natural and social sciences are linked, Mereon can help renew nature through social transformation. Mereon offers to be a scientific tool to synchronize man-made systems with natural systems. Mereon proves that everything is connected and participating in a cycle of cycles. Mereon allows decision makers to evaluate the consequences of their action before they act. It reveals the process to establish a connection to other patterns, a Pattern of patterns. The Mereon process is humanity’s link with the creative process at the heart of the universe. Mereon demonstrates that life itself came from non-life. Using the Mereon process, we can understand all aspects of a system and its relationships with other systems.

Mereon shows how chaotic experiences in our lives are symptoms of change happening within and without. Building relationships requires constant cultivation of its foundations. Mereon allows people to reconsider the nature of space and time by allowing them to understand their past actions in relation to their current realities. It allows us to make predictions about our future to plan and act in advance.

The will to survive, along with the ability to change, creates social transformation. Mereon is a natural method for analyzing the current state of our planet and society. It can find solutions and build on innovative technologies. It reveals how everyone is an active participant in the world’s ultimate fate and how it can help us make important decisions regarding what must be done to survive and determine the best way to do it. Mereon reveals that everyone is critical in this process. Scientists with multiple disciplinary backgrounds with the will to unite with other such scientists can make a powerful difference. Things change when a critical mass of such people chooses to use their power to influence society. Their actions can create a ripple effect felt around the world.

Mereon reveals how positive transformation can lead to sustainable harmony. As a tool for discovery, it can identify common values and refine them when needed. As an organizational tool, it makes diverse actions unite to create sustainable change. But the first step is uniting our inner lives with our outer lives. Internal unity is the key for harmonious relationships. Mereon allows us to create mutually beneficial solutions that are critical to help us conserve limited resources. Solutions which are not mutually beneficial can lead to disorder and oblivion. Our greatest threat is not from outside our planet, but from within human beings. Man-made processes that damage our environment are wreaking havoc on the health of this planet and humanity. An event once viewed as unlikely can unleash a series of unpredictable and catastrophic changes. Events such as droughts and economic collapse are just two examples. People in high positions of power have lacked the moral will to legislate critical changes needed to prevent disastrous human behavior before it is too late. It is time for societies to bring about positive actions to prevent these disasters. Scientific information must not support an agenda that benefits a “privileged” few. Mereon can help scientists make decisions based upon unifying principles before their action is taken. Mereon’s stabilizing nature allows a balancing point where a system extends its resources to its boundaries and then maintains this connection until the system gives “birth” to an optimal state.

Lynnclaire presents a strong case that although nature and science may be at a tipping point, what is needed is a turning point in social processes. The toroidal nature of Mereon shows how all resources in an optimal system must be distributed equally. Otherwise, when any part of a system breaks down, the entire system is at risk. We must bring social and scientific processes together to create new ideas to benefit society. People with strong social influence must come together to identify shared values to ignite a mutual vision. To create new technologies, we must remove those things which block us from finding mutual understanding. We can do this by cultivating transdisciplinary cooperation to create new types of communication. Ground-breaking discoveries come from such cooperation. Lynnclaire has witnessed how even elementary school children using Mereon principles can resolve problems and create remarkable new solutions. Competent groups of people where everyone “fits in” can quickly evaluate options based on historical data. They can then use the best method to perform actions that ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Because Mereon reveals how diversity is fundamental to unity, it provides a way for diverse people to come together to solve and evolve. It requires communication that prevents exploration from being locked away in places for only a few, as in many universities and research centers. Mereon originated from an “outsider” of academic circles – Lynnclaire Dennis – a non-scientist with no training or understanding of mathematics. This demonstrates how a single person who is “outside” of the system can have a direct impact upon the entire system itself. Her experience with Mereon led her to understand how conscious cooperation requires the following traits:

  1. Have solid values on which to ground a clear vision.
  2. Have a will to set aside, temporarily or permanently, past dogmas if they are invalidated.
  3. Have the courage to accept your experience no matter how others might view it.
  4. Have a readiness to share and accept responsibility for an ongoing vision and doing so with open-minded individuals who were able to learn, unlearn and re-learn from one another, especially those who think differently.
  5. Have an ability to retain that knowledge and work together.
  6. Have the tenaciously to have it implemented wisely.

Near the end of Lynnclaire’s Epilogue, she writes:

“The Mereon Matrix is an innovative model of learning and relearning; of reconciliation and renewal that allows your work, whatever it is, to be measurable, important and personally significant. As a conscious collective we are the answer we seek. A union of intention, honoring uniqueness and recognizing fundamental sameness the Mereon Matrix introduces a new Monad: a unitive concept behind many long-awaited ‘messiahs’. Survival, another name for ‘salvation’, is up to us and means bringing all our scientific ideas down to Earth for earthly good … In this ending, you have arrived at a turning point; and what is next is up to you.”

13. “Discovering Your Youniverse and Living Plan Be” and How This Work Applies To You

What Mereon reveals about science and technology, is as compelling as what Lynnclaire’s new book, Discovering Your Youniverse and Living Plan Be, reveals about our life and humanity. This new book provides us a way to end humanity’s collective insanity. It is a simple book which outlines a simple way to make life choices. In this book, Lynnclaire fulfills another important purpose in her life in bringing heavenly matters down to Earth; and that is to make this profound knowledge accessible to everyone. Her program, “Living Plan Be” is as simple as it is meaningful – like the harmony and interconnectedness people feel when viewing her artwork. In this new book, you will discover how Loving is really the only thing that matters; how the first person you must love unconditionally is yourself; and that by applying the simple process described in her book, you can become catalyst for positive change: for Love. Lynnclaire’s experience inspires the courage it takes to remember and honor your own experiences as you identify your values and vision. As you bring conscious awareness to all your realities, you will understand and move with what she has long called “The Dance”.

Discovering Your Youniverse and Living Plan Be presents Mereon to the average person, those who want to understand it from a personal perspective based on the science. It begins by answering today’s existential questions such as: “What’s in it for me?” and “Why should I care?” In her book, she defines an Absolute Axiom:

“You and I, a toad and the pond scum it swims in, a dirt-rimed rock and a flawless diamond are all made of exactly the same stuff. Everything including the invisible matter that pervades our universe is made of stardust, hologramic embers that were emitted from a single cosmic sparkler. Life emerged from nonlife, and nothing being different save the difference in how each form of matter arises out of this primordial stuff. Your uniqueness is due to the fact that, like every form you are uniquely arranged, the atoms that make you are distinctively informed by discrete elements that came together at a different time and space than anything else.”

So simply put, the answers are:

  1. All forms are defined by the Mereon process which means that you are a part of the Mereon process and Mereon is a part of you.
  2. Mereon reveals how what works for you, and what works for someone else, actually works in the same way. That difference does not mean different.
  3. Mereon reveals two more life-changing reasons for you to care:
  4. You are unique and must decide for yourself what works for you.
  5. It shows how you can make what you love, work well for you!

The scientific discoveries uncovered in the universal nature of Mereon are profound. Changing your own life is the first step toward a healthy future. It is critical for developing new sciences, new transformations in education, new business models and solving environmental challenges. As you discover your “Youniverse”, experiencing the unity that exists between your physical and spiritual realities, you move closer to Home: your place in the universe.

14. “A Footprint in Eternity: Evidence of Mother Nature’s Form & Fingerprints Imprinted in a Near-Death Experience” About the Mereon Investigation from 2002–2014

Given that Mereon is all about Time, it perfectly understandable how Lynnclaire winds back and forwards through time once again beginning with retrospection. Starting from the lofty realm of a physics meeting at Cambridge University in 1998, Lynnclaire will take you on a round-the-world journey from Europe to Africa, across India and China. As you make this journey with her, you will understand how her experiences deepened her willingness to stick with the scientific approach as the only avenue that might possibly validate the gift she brought back from her NDEs. These books are a starting place where you can quietly hear what Lynnclaire describes as a wake up call to humanity. She says:

“My desire is this: whether it’s turning a page in a book; attending a presentation; participating in a workshop; training in a course to learn to facilitate this process; or gazing through the universal window into a piece of art, you’ll join her on the Path of Transformation. By revisioning our lives, sometimes with every single breath, we can then walk and work side-by-side as we awaken and bring this Dream to Life in real-time.

“May transformation bring you the joy of connections as the world unites on this evolutionary journey. Through loving experiences we move beyond fear, hatred and competition to experience the mutual respect that is inherent within our amazing diversity. The peace we desire, inside and out, is not the mission; it is the by-product of love, the result of mindful compassion.”

Near-Death Experience and Quantum Physics Research

T. Lee Baumann, M.D. is the author of (a) God at the Speed of Light: The Melding of Science and Spirituality, (b) Window to God: A Physician’s Spiritual Pilgrimage, and (c) The Akashic Light: Religion’s Common Thread. Dr. Baumann also appears in the documentaries “The Evidence for Heaven” and “The Search for Heaven.” Dr. Baumann is a medical consultant in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to his years in private practice, Baumann has been a medical administrator and a biology instructor. He holds medical certifications in internal medicine, geriatrics, and medical management. The following are some of Dr. Baumann’s research into quantum physics and NDEs.

1. Introduction to the Nature of Light

Quantum physicists study the nature of light. The Bible speaks of light when talking about God. Near-death experiences describe going to a light that is welcoming, intelligent, and loving. Strangest of all, however, is the similarity of all these descriptions of the nature, presence, and behavior of light to descriptions of God. Could it be that light and God are one and the same? Physician T. Lee Baumann makes a case for exactly that. From many sources, Dr. Baumann has synthesized a compelling picture of what may be the true nature of our universe at all levels – physical, mental, and spiritual.

Dr. Baumann’s book has been in the making for well over twenty years. Following my graduation from medical school, I developed a keen interest in quantum physics as a result of my fascination with Albert Einstein. The more I read on quantum theory, the more intrigued I became by its supernatural and spiritual aspects.

2. The Supernatural and Spiritual Aspects of Light

The following describes the awesome characteristics of light:

Light was pervasive at the Big Bang and is predicted at the Universe’s demise (alpha and omega).

All matter is ultimately reducible to electromagnetic radiation (which includes light).

Time ceases to exist at light speed.

The energy of light is infinite.

Physicists reveal experiments that show that light particles communicate!

Light is the loving entity that welcomes the dying in near-death experiences.

The Bible and the world’s other major religious texts refer to God in terms of light.

The human race is very special – it is human observation that transforms light waves to light particles (i.e., how we experience reality).

The second law of thermodynamics (entropy) dictates that an infinite amount of organization (hence, design) existed in the singularity of the Big Bang. This book (nondenominational) argues that these comparisons to God are not just serendipitous.

3. Excerpts From “God at the Speed of Light”

I have intentionally tried to be very selective in the [near-death] cases I have reprinted here. I have not listed numerous other accounts, which are essentially repetition, and I have omitted some very impressive experiences that might be considered the direct result of certain illnesses, i.e., ailments involving the brain, or the circulation or oxygenation of blood to the brain. (Adventures in Death, p. 15)

As shown in the previous chapter, the element of light is one, if not the, most important element of the near-death experience. In review of multiple NDE cases, researchers Raymond Moody and Melvin Morse made several noteworthy observations involving the light.

Moody noted that, of all the possible near-death elements, the light exerted the greatest influence on the individual. Patients interpreted the light as a being – a being that radiated love and warmth. Christians recognized the light as Christ. Atheists identified the spirit only as a guide. (Light, p.22)

It is now universally accepted, although still incredible to comprehend, that the speed of light is constant for all observers, regardless of their relative speeds or direction. This is an extraordinary feature.

How light accomplishes this feat is unknown, but it appears that light has been positioned as the cornerstone of modern physics and natural law. Einstein explained that as an object increases in speed, especially approaching the speed of light, its length decreases, its mass increases, and time slows (but the speed of light remains constant). If an object actually reaches the speed of light, time stops completely. Many are not aware of the full significance of this last point. Imagine that you are traveling at the speed of light and time stands still. You find that you can travel anywhere in the universe, and you never age! Hence, it is striking, but photons, and all other forms of electromagnetic radiation, are timeless (Light, p. 27-28).

4. Dr. T. Lee Baumann on Television

The producers of PAX TV’s “Encounters with the Unexplained” series has released a press release dealing with the airing of two “Heaven” television specials which feature Dr. T. Baumann and his book, “God at the Speed of Light.” The first television special, “The Evidence for Heaven”, aired on June 2004 and the second special, “The Search for Heaven”, aired on September 2004.

a. About “The Search for Heaven”

Buy “The Search for Heaven” (DVD) online.

This video special discusses some of the most fundamental questions: What happens when we die? Is there actually a life after death? Does the human spirit continue to survive? Is there really a heaven?

Of course, the major religions of the world answer “yes” and ask that we accept it as a matter of faith. But in a world full of skepticism, unquestionable faith does not seem sufficient. But what if faith alone didn’t have to carry this burden? What if there was other proof that heaven exists?

In Search Of Heaven” explores this provocative question: Do new scientific discoveries and cutting edge research actually prove the existence of heaven? Some believe that, yes indeed, there is now proof that heaven actually exists. This is no religious quest; it is a serious investigation of some rather startling new findings. The special will include dramatic reenactments, interviews, and comments from numerous theological experts and scientists.

One medical expert featured in the special is Dr. T. Baumann, author of “God at the Speed of Light.” Dr. Baumann states: “I feel there is a common element to balance the arguments for near death and the existence of Heaven. That common element is light … light is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and has a consciousness.”

The tone of the special is investigative in nature and is balanced and informative. Its objective is to promote debate and discussion concerning this very important subject.

b. About “The Evidence for Heaven”

Is there a spiritual realm where the soul resides after death? To Christian believers, the answers to these questions are a foregone conclusion. But, for believers and non-believers alike, the topic of life after death in a place called heaven raises even more questions. Where is heaven? What will heaven be like? Will we continue to learn in heaven or will we instantly know everything? Will life beyond the one we are experiencing here and now be a life free from pain and suffering? Will our bodies be different in heaven? Will we be married in heaven? Is there now scientific evidence that heaven really does exist? All of these are just a few of the questions answered after examining the scientific studies, personal testimony, and experiences of those who say they have already traveled to heaven and back. Discover the astounding level to which modern science has answers to these questions.

Recent advances in medical technology have allowed doctors to bring people back from death and giving rise to the near-death experience phenomenon. People are coming back to life and bringing with them remarkably vivid visions of heaven. They tell about visions of a bright Light or being surrounded by overwhelming love — even conversing with Jesus. The special looks closely at several of the most astounding NDEs — including contemporary experiences as well as the experiences of Biblical characters, such as the Apostle Paul, Stephen the Martyr, Elijah, and others.

Listen to the testimony of many highly respected medical doctors, physicists, Biblical scholars and scientists from the late 17th Century until today, who have been working to prove that immortality is indeed a reality. Discover the results of several scientific studies including one 25-year project that concluded, “For the first time in 8,000 years of recorded history, it can now be said with certainty that our mind, memory, and personality and soul will survive physical death.”

Mellen-Thomas Benedict’s Near-Death Experience

In 1982 Mellen-Thomas (died 2017) suffered from terminal brain cancer and died; but miraculously lived to tell about it. While showing no vital signs for 90 minutes, Benedict had perhaps the most transcendental NDE ever documented. While on the Other Side, Benedict journeyed through various afterlife realms and was given access to Universal Intelligence by which he was allowed to absorb a tremendous amount of spiritual and scientific knowledge including the nature of reincarnation. Benedict’s enthusiastic curiosity during his NDE took him far into the remote depths of existence – and even beyond – into the energetic void of nothingness behind the Big Bang. He was shown in holographic detail the evolution of both Mother Earth (“Gaia”) and humanity and experienced the cosmology of our soul’s connection with Gaia. He was given knowledge about humanity’s role in the Universe including a beautiful vision of humanity’s future for the next 400 years. Deepak Chopra, in his book “Life after Death: The Burden of Proof,” recounts Benedict’s journey at length and says, “Mellen is an encyclopedia of the afterlife.” In the view of the webmaster of this site, on this web page you will read the most inspirational NDE ever documented.

1. About Mellen-Thomas Benedict

Mellen-Thomas Benedict’s NDE resulted in perhaps the greatest fundamental transformation of any near-death experiencer ever documented. Miraculously, Benedict returned to his body with a complete remission of the disease. The advanced scientific knowledge he brought back from his NDE led him to numerous scientific discoveries and U.S. and foreign patents (see www.lighthealthresearch.com). Ever since his NDE, Benedict has maintained his direct access to Universal Intelligence, and returns to the Light at will. This enables him to be a bridge between science and spirit and allows him to develop new technologies for health and wellness. Benedict discovered living cells can respond very quickly to light stimulation resulting in, among other things, high speed healing. NDE expert Dr. Kenneth Ring says of Benedict:

“Mellen-Thomas has the big picture. His story is one of the most remarkable I have encountered in extensive research on near-death experiences. It is very rare that those who have died and returned have seen into the future to the extent that Mellen has. His vision of the future is one of hope. He has participated in studies of a major university where he contributed to understanding the structure of genes and chromosome coding for a genetic disease, while researchers puzzled over how he could have access to this information.” – Dr. Kenneth Ring

Dr. Janice Holden of International Association of Near Death Studies (IANDS) says of Benedict:

“Mellen-Thomas, under hypnosis, was able to give accurate information about and draw the genetic makeup of a rare neuromuscular disease. I was astounded by this. It’s not the kind of thing where one could cheat.” – Dr. Janice Holden

Benedict has been closely involved in the research area of Quantum Biology – the quantum relationship between light and life. Benedict has discovered how living cells can respond very quickly to light stimulation resulting in, among other things, high speed healing. His research is providing dramatic new perspectives on how biological systems work. He is also a technology and product consultant and a popular lecturer on the subjects of longevity, energy medicine, and phototherapy.

During his NDE, Benedict was given the names of several people whose discoveries would one day be seen as on a par with those of Newton or Einstein. One of the names given to him was “Cleve Backster.” After having his NDE, Benedict tracked him down. Cleve Backster, see www.primaryperception.com, is best known for his experiments with biocommunication in plant and animal cells using a polygraph machine in the 1960s which led to his theory of “primary perception.” Cleve Backster’s study was partially replicated in 1973 by Dr. Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ of CIA remote-viewing “Stargate Project” fame at the Stanford Research Institute. Puthoff and Targ applied for and received a research grant to probe plant sensitivity. In 1973, they began to conduct plant and human consciousness research on the “Backster Effect.” The product culminated in a final report called “Organic Biofield Sensor” by H. E. Puthoff and R. Fontes.

Benedict says in about 200 years Cleve Backster will be seen as a kind of “saint” to the Gaia-based spirituality which will dominate society at that time. Cleve Backster’s work is neither esoteric nor spiritual, but scientific. His book is entitled, “Primary Perception: Biocommunication with Plants, Living Foods, and Human Cells” and his original work is described in the book, “The Secret Life of Plants.” See also Cleve Backster’s Wikipedia page.

Benedict’s NDE is reprinted here by the permission of his friends Dr. Lee Worth Bailey and Jenny Yates. Their excellent book entitled The Near-Death Experience: A Reader, published by Routledge, New York, in 1996, is highly recommended by the webmaster. A portion of his near-death experience also appears in P.M.H. Atwater‘s book, Beyond the Light. Atwater is the one who introduced Benedict to the near-death community.

Concerning the validity of Benedict’s testimony, P.M.H. Atwater has this to say:

“I can attest that his case is genuine and his claims about the brain tumor and the conditions of his death are true. I have met his mother and step-father, been in his and their homes, and have followed his life since – his struggles and his accomplishments – as he sought to find a way to integrate his experience into his daily life while still honoring the mission he felt guided to fulfill.” – P.M.H. Atwater

2. The Road to Death

In 1982 I died from terminal cancer. The condition I had was inoperable, and any kind of chemotherapy they could give me would just have made me more of a vegetable. I was given six to eight months to live. I had been an information freak in the 1970’s, and I had become increasingly despondent over the nuclear crisis, the ecology crisis, and so forth. So, since I did not have a spiritual basis, I began to believe that nature had made a mistake, and that we were probably a cancerous organism on the planet. I saw no way that we could get out from all the problems we had created for ourselves and the planet. I perceived all humans as cancer, and that is what I got. That is what killed me. Be careful what your world view is. It can feed back on you, especially if it is a negative world view. I had a seriously negative one.

That is what led me into my death. I tried all sort s of alternative healing methods, but nothing helped. So I determined that this was really just between me and God. I had never really faced God before, or even dealt with God. I was not into any kind of spirituality at the time, but I began a journey into learning about spirituality and alternative healing. I set out to do all the reading I could and bone up on the subject, because I did not want to be surprised on the other side. So I started reading on various religions and philosophies. They were all very interesting, and gave hope that there was something on the other side. I ended up in hospice care.

I remember waking up one morning at home about 4:30 am and I just knew that this was it. This was the day I was going to die. So I called a few friends and said goodbye. I woke up my hospice caretaker and told her. I had a private agreement with her that she would leave my dead body alone for six hours, since I had read that all kinds of interesting things happen when you die. I went back to sleep. The next thing I remember is the beginning of a typical near death experience. Suddenly I was fully aware and I was standing up, but my body was in the bed. There was this darkness around me. Being out of my body was even more vivid than ordinary experience. It was so vivid that I could see every room in the house, I could see the top of the house, I could see around the house, I could see under the house.

3. The Light of God

There was this Light shining. I turned toward the Light. The Light was very similar to what many other people have described in their near-death experiences. It was so magnificent. It is tangible; you can feel it. It is alluring; you want to go to it like you would want to go to your ideal mother’s or father’s arms. As I began to move toward the Light, I knew intuitively that if I went to the Light, I would be dead. So as I was moving toward the Light I said, “Please wait a minute, just hold on a second here. I want to think about this; I would like to talk to you before I go.” To my surprise, the entire experience halted at that point. You are indeed in control of your near-death experience. You are not on a roller coaster ride.

So my request was honored and I had some conversations with the Light. The Light kept changing into different figures, like Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, mandalas, archetypal images and signs. I asked the Light, “What is going on here? Please, Light, clarify yourself for me. I really want to know the reality of the situation.” I cannot really say the exact words, because it was sort of telepathy.

The Light responded. The information transferred to me was that your beliefs shape the kind of feedback you are getting before the Light. If you were a Buddhist or Catholic or Fundamentalist, you get a feedback loop of your own stuff. You have a chance to look at it and examine it, but most people do not. As the Light revealed itself to me, I became aware that what I was really seeing was our Higher Self matrix.

We all have a higher Self, or an oversoul part of our being. It revealed itself to me in its truest energy form. The only way I can really describe it is that the being of the higher Self is more like a conduit. It did not look like that, but it is a direct connection to the Source that each and every one of us has. We are directly connected to the Source. So the Light was showing me the higher Self matrix. I was not committed to one particular religion. So that is what was being fed back to me during my life after death experience. As I asked the Light to keep clearing for me, to keep explaining, I understood what the higher Self matrix is. We have a grid around the planet where all the higher Selves are connected. This is like a great company, a next subtle level of energy around us, the spirit level, you might say. Then, after a couple of minutes, I asked for more clarification. I really wanted to know what the universe is about, and I was ready to go at that time. I said, “I am ready, take me.”

4. The River of Life

Then the Light turned into the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen: a mandala of human souls on this planet. Now I came to this with my negative view of what has happened on the planet. So as I asked the Light to keep clarifying for me, I saw in this magnificent mandala how beautiful we all are in our essence, our core. We are the most beautiful creations. The human soul, the human matrix that we all make together is absolutely fantastic, elegant, exotic, everything. I just cannot say enough about how it changed my opinion of human beings in that instant. I said, “Oh, God, I did not know how beautiful we are.” At any level, high or low, in whatever shape you are in, you are the most beautiful creation, you are.

I was astonished to find that there was no evil in any soul. I said, “How can this be?” The answer was that no soul was inherently evil. The terrible things that happened to people might make them do evil things, but their souls were not evil. What all people seek, what sustains them, is love, the Light told me. What distorts people is a lack of love.

The revelations coming from the Light seemed to go on and on, then I asked the Light, “Does this mean that humankind will be saved?” Then, like a trumpet blast with a shower of spiraling lights, the Great Light spoke, saying:

“Remember this and never forget; you save, redeem and heal yourself. You always have. You always will. You were created with the power to do so from before the beginning of the world.”

In that instant I realized even more. I realized that WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN SAVED, and we saved ourselves because we were designed to self-correct like the rest of God’s universe. This is what the second coming is about. I thanked the Light of God with all my heart. The best thing I could come up with during my near death experience was these simple words of total appreciation: “Oh dear God, dear Universe, dear Great Self, I Love My Life.” The Light seemed to breathe me in even more deeply. It was as if the Light was completely absorbing me. The Love Light is, to this day, indescribable. I entered into another realm, more profound than the last, and became aware of something more, much more. It was an enormous stream of Light, vast and full, deep in the Heart of Life. I asked what this was. The Light responded:

“This is the RIVER OF LIFE. Drink of this manna water to your heart’s content.”

So I did. I took one big drink and then another. To drink of life Itself! I was in ecstasy.

Then the Light said: “You have a desire.”

The Light knew all about me, everything past, present and future.

“Yes!” I whispered.

I asked to see the rest of the Universe; beyond our solar system, beyond all human illusion. The Light then told me that I could go with the Stream. I did, and was carried through the Light at the end of the tunnel. I felt and heard a series of very soft sonic booms. What a rush!

Suddenly I seemed to be rocketing away from the planet on this stream of Life. I saw the earth fly away. The solar system, in all its splendor, whizzed by and disappeared. At faster than light speed, I flew through the center of the galaxy, absorbing more knowledge as I went. I learned that this galaxy, and all of the Universe, is bursting with many different varieties of LIFE. I saw many worlds. The good news is that we are not alone in this Universe!

As I rode this stream of consciousness through the center of the galaxy, the stream was expanding in awesome fractal waves of energy. The super clusters of galaxies with all their ancient wisdom flew by. At first I thought I was going somewhere; actually traveling. But then I realized that, as the stream was expanding, my own consciousness was also expanding to take in everything in the Universe! All creation passed by me. It was an unimaginable wonder! I truly was a Wonder Child; a babe in Wonderland!

5. The Void

At this point of my near-death experience, I found myself in a profound stillness, beyond all silence. I could see or perceive FOREVER, beyond Infinity. I was in the Void.

I was in pre-creation, before the Big Bang. I had crossed over the beginning of time / the First Word / the First vibration. I was in the Eye of Creation. I felt as if I was touching the Face of God. It was not a religious feeling. Simply, I was at one with Absolute Life and Consciousness. When I say that I could see or perceive forever, I mean that I could experience all of creation generating itself. It was without beginning and without end. That’s a mind-expanding thought, isn’t it? Scientists perceive the Big Bang as a single event that created the Universe. I saw during my life after death experience that the Big Bang is only one of an infinite number of Big Bangs creating Universes endlessly and simultaneously. The only images that even come close in human terms would be those created by super computers using fractal geometry equations.

The ancients knew of this. They said God had periodically created new Universes by breathing out, and recreated other Universes by breathing in. These epochs were called Yugas. Modern science called this the Big Bang. I was in absolute, pure consciousness. I could see or perceive all the Big Bangs or Yugas creating and recreating themselves. Instantly I entered into them all simultaneously. I saw that each and every little piece of creation has the power to create. It is very difficult to try to explain this. I am still speechless about this.

It took me years after I returned from my near-death experience to assimilate any words at all for the Void experience. I can tell you this now: the Void is less than nothing, yet more than everything that is! The Void is absolute zero; chaos forming all possibilities. It is Absolute Consciousness; much more than even Universal Intelligence. The Void is the vacuum or nothingness between all physical manifestations. The SPACE between atoms and their components. Modern science has begun to study this space between everything. They call it Zero point. Whenever they try to measure it, their instruments go off the scale, or to infinity, so to speak. They have no way, as of yet, to measure infinity accurately. There is more of the zero space in your own body and the Universe than anything else!

What mystics call the Void is not a void. It is so full of energy, a different kind of energy that has created everything that we are. Everything since the Big Bang is vibration, from the first Word, which is the first vibration. The biblical “I am” really has a question mark after it. “I am — What am I?” So creation is God exploring God’s Self through every way imaginable, in an ongoing, infinite exploration through every one of us. I began to see during my near-death experience that everything that is, is the Self, literally, your Self, my Self. Everything is the great Self. That is why God knows even when a leaf falls. That is possible because wherever you are is the center of the universe. Wherever any atom is, that is the center of the universe. There is God in that, and God in the Void.

As I was exploring the Void during my life after death experience and all the Yugas or creations, I was completely out of time and space as we know it. In this expanded state, I discovered that creation is about Absolute Pure Consciousness, or God, coming into the Experience of Life as we know it. The Void itself is devoid of experience. It is pre life, before the first vibration. Godhead is about more than Life and Death. Therefore there is even more than Life and Death to experience in the Universe!

When I realized this I was finished with the Void, and wanted to return to this creation, or Yuga. It just seemed like the natural thing to do. Then I suddenly came back through the second Light, or the Big Bang, hearing several more velvet booms. I rode the stream of consciousness back through all of creation, and what a ride it was! The super clusters of galaxies came through me with even more insights. I passed through the center of our galaxy, which is a black hole. Black holes are the great processors or recyclers of the Universe. Do you know what is on the other side of a Black Hole? We are; our galaxy, which has been reprocessed from another Universe. In its total energy configuration, the galaxy looked like a fantastic city of lights. All energy this side of the Big Bang is light. Every sub atom, atom, star, planet, even consciousness itself is made of light and has a frequency and/or particle. Light is living stuff. Everything is made of light, even stones. So everything is alive. Everything is made from the Light of God; everything is very intelligent.

6. The Light of Love

As I rode the stream on and on, I could eventually see a huge Light coming. I knew it was the First Light; the higher Self Light Matrix of our solar system. Then the entire solar system appeared in the Light, accompanied by one of those velvet booms. I could see during my near death experience all the energy that this solar system generates, and it is an incredible light show! I could hear the Music of the Spheres. Our solar system, as do all celestial bodies, generates a unique matrix of light, sound and vibratory energies.

Advanced civilizations from other star systems can spot life as we know it in the universe by the vibratory or energy matrix imprint. It is child’s play. The earth’s Wonder child (human beings) make an abundance of sound right now, like children playing in the backyard of the universe. The Light explained to me that there is no death; we are immortal beings. We have already been alive forever! I realized that we are part of a natural living system that recycles itself endlessly. I was never told that I had to come back. I just knew that I would. It was only natural, from what I had seen during my life after death experience.

I don’t know how long I was with the Light, in human time. But there came a moment when I realized that all my questions had been answered and my return was near. When I say that all my questions were answered on the other side, I mean to say just that. During my near death experience, all my questions have been answered. Every human has a different life and set of questions to explore. Some of our questions are Universal, but each of us is exploring this thing we call Life in our own unique way. So is every other form of life, from mountains to every leaf on every tree. And that is very important to the rest of us in this Universe. Because it all contributes to the Big Picture, the fullness of Life. We are literally God exploring God’s self in an infinite Dance of Life. Your uniqueness enhances all of Life.

7. His Return to Earth

As I began my return to the life cycle, it never crossed my mind, nor was I told during my near-death experience that I would return to the same body. It just did not matter. I had complete trust in the Light and the Life process. As the stream merged with the great Light, I asked never to forget the revelations and the feelings of what I had learned on the other side. There was a “Yes.” It felt like a kiss to my soul. Then I was taken back through the Light into the vibratory realm again. The whole process reversed, with even more information being given to me. I came back home, and I was given lessons from my near-death experience on the mechanics of reincarnation. I was given answers to all those little questions I had: “How does this work? How does that work?” I knew that I would be reincarnated. The earth is a great processor of energy, and individual consciousness evolves out of that into each one of us. I thought of myself as a human for the first time, and I was happy to be that. From what I have seen, I would be happy to be an atom in this universe. An atom. So to be the human part of God … this is the most fantastic blessing. It is a blessing beyond our wildest estimation of what blessing can be. For each and every one of us to be the human part of this experience is awesome, and magnificent.

Each and every one of us, no matter where we are, screwed up or not, is a blessing to the planet, right where we are. I went through the reincarnation process expecting to be a baby somewhere. But I was given a lesson on how individual identity and consciousness evolve. I was so surprised when I opened my eyes from my near death experience. I do not know why, because I understood it, but it was still such a surprise to be back in this body, back in my room with someone looking over me crying her eyes out. It was my hospice caretaker. She had given up an hour and a half after finding me dead. My body was stiff and inflexible. She went into the other room. Then I awakened and saw the light outside. I tried to get up to go to it, but I fell out of the bed. She heard a loud “clunk,” ran in and found me on the floor.

When I recovered, I was very surprised and yet very awed about what had happened to me during my near death experience. At first all the memory of the trip that I have now was not there. I kept slipping out of this world and kept asking, “Am I alive?” This world seemed more like a dream than that one. Within three days I was feeling normal again, clearer, yet different than I had ever felt in my life. My memory of my near-death experience came back later. I could see nothing wrong with any human being I had ever seen. Before that I was really judgmental. I thought a lot of people were really screwed up, in fact I thought that everybody was screwed up but me. But I got clear on all that.

About three months later a friend said I should get tested, so I went and got the scans and so forth. I really felt good, so I was afraid of getting bad news. I remember the doctor at the clinic looking at the before and after scans, saying, “Well, there is nothing here now.” I said, “Really, it must be a miracle.” He said, “No, these things happen; they are called spontaneous remission.” He acted very unimpressed. But here was a miracle, and I was impressed, even if no one else was.

8. The Lessons He Learned

The mystery of life has very little to do with intelligence. The universe is not an intellectual process at all. The intellect is helpful; it is brilliant, but right now that is all we process with, instead of our hearts and the wiser part of ourselves.

The center of the Earth is this great transmuter of energy, just as you see in pictures of our Earth’s magnetic field. That’s our cycle, pulling reincarnated souls back in and through it again. A sign that you are reaching human level is that you are beginning to evolve an individual consciousness. The animals have a group soul, and they reincarnate in group souls. A deer is pretty much going to be a deer forever. But just being born a human, whether deformed or genius, shows that you are on the path to developing an individual consciousness. That is in itself part of the group consciousness called humanity.

I saw that races are personality clusters. Nations like France, Germany and China each have their own personality. Cities have personalities, their local group souls that attract certain people. Families have group souls. Individual identity is evolving like branches of a fractal; the group soul explores in our individuality. The different questions that each of us has are very, very important. This is how Godhead is exploring God’s Self – through you. So ask your questions, do your searching. You will find your Self and you will find God in that Self, because it is only the Self.

More than that, I began to see that each one of us humans are soul mates. We are part of the same soul fractaling out in many creative directions, but still the same. Now I look at every human being that I ever see, and I see a soul mate, my soul mate, the one I have always been looking for. Beyond that, the greatest soul mate that you will ever have is yourself. We are each both male and female. We experience this in the womb and we experience this in reincarnation states. If you are looking for that ultimate soul mate outside of yourself, you may never find it; it is not there. Just as God is not “there.” God is here. Don’t look “out there” for God. Look here for God. Look through your Self. Start having the greatest love affair you ever had … with your Self. You will love everything out of that.

I had a descent into what you might call hell, and it was very surprising. I did not see Satan or evil. My descent into hell was a descent into each person’s customized human misery, ignorance, and darkness of not-knowing. It seemed like a miserable eternity. But each of the millions of souls around me had a little star of light always available. But no one seemed to pay attention to it. They were so consumed with their own grief, trauma and misery. But, after what seemed an eternity, I started calling out to that light, like a child calling to a parent for help. Then the light opened up and formed a tunnel that came right to me an insulated me from all that fear and pain. That is what hell really is.

So what we are doing is learning to hold hands, to come together. The doors of hell are open now. We are going to link up, hold hands, and walk out of hell together.

The light came to me and turned into a huge golden angel. I said, “Are you the angel of death?”

It expressed to me that it was my oversoul, my Higher Self matrix, a super-ancient part of ourselves. Then I was taken to the light.

Soon our science will quantify spirit. Isn’t that going to be wonderful? We are coming up with devices now that are sensitive to subtle energy or spirit energy. Physicists use these atomic colliders to smash atoms to see what they are made of. They have got it down to quarks and charm, and all that. Well, one day they are going to come down to the little thing that holds it all together, and they are going to have to call that … God. With atomic colliders they are not only seeing what is in here, but they are creating particles. Thank God most of them are short-lived milliseconds and nanoseconds. We are just beginning to understand that we are creating too, as we go along.

As I saw forever, I came to a realm in which there is a point where we pass all knowledge and begin creating the next fractal, the next level. We have that power to create as we explore. And that is God expanding itself through us.

Since my return I have experienced the light spontaneously, and I have learned how to get to that space almost any time in my meditation. Each one of you can do this. You do not have to die to do this. It is within your equipment; you are wired for it already.

The body is the most magnificent light being there is. The body is a universe of incredible light. Spirit is not pushing us to dissolve this body. That is not what is happening. Stop trying to become God; God is becoming you. Here.

The mind is like a child running around the universe, demanding this and thinking it created the world. But I ask the mind, “What did your mother have to do with this?”

That is the next level of spiritual awareness. Oh! My mother! All of a sudden you give up the ego, because you are not the only soul in the universe.

9. What Is the Best Religion?

I asked God: “What is the best religion on the planet? Which one is right?” And Godhead said, with great love: “I don’t care.” That was incredible grace.

They come and they go, they change. Buddhism has not been here forever, Catholicism has not been here forever, and they are all about to become more enlightened. More light is coming into all systems now. There is going to be a reformation in spirituality that is going to be just as dramatic as the Protestant Reformation. There will be lots of people fighting about it, one religion against the next, believing that only they are right.

Everyone thinks they own God, the religions and philosophies, especially the religions, because they form big organizations around their philosophy. When Godhead said, “I don’t care,” I immediately understood that it is for us to care about. It is important, because we are the caring beings. It matters to us and that is where it is important. What you have is the energy equation in spirituality. Ultimate Godhead does not care if you are Protestant, Buddhist, or whatever. It is all a blooming facet of the whole. I wish that all religions would realize it and let each other be. It is not the end of each religion, but we are talking about the same God. Live and let live. Each has a different view. And it all adds up to the Big Picture; it is all important.

I went over to the other side during my near-death experience with a lot of fears about toxic waste, nuclear missiles, the population explosion, the rainforest. I came back loving every single problem. I love nuclear waste. I love the mushroom cloud; this is the holiest mandala that we have manifested to date, as an archetype. It, more than any religion or philosophy on earth, brought us together all of a sudden, to a new level of consciousness. Knowing that maybe we can blow up the planet fifty times, or 500 times, we finally realize that maybe we are all here together now. For a period they had to keep setting off more bombs to get it in to us. Then we started saying, “we do not need this any more.” Now we are actally in a safer world than we have ever been in, and it is going to get safer. So I came back from my near-death experience loving toxic waste, because it brought us together. These things are so big. As Peter Russell might say, these problems are now “soul size.” Do we have soul size answers, YES!

The clearing of the rain forest will slow down, and in fifty years there will be more trees on the planet than in a long time. If you are into ecology, go for it; you are that part of the system that is becoming aware. Go for it with all your might, but do not be depressed. It is part of a larger thing. Earth is in the process of domesticating itself. It is never again going to be as wild a place as it once was. There will be great wild places, reserves where nature thrives. Gardening and reserves will be the thing in the future. Population increase is getting very close to the optimal range of energy to cause a shift in consciousness. That shift in consciousness will change politics, money, energy.

After dying, going through my near-death experience and coming back, I really respect life and death. In our DNA experiments we may have opened the door to a great secret. Soon we will be able to live as long as we want to live in this body. After living 150 years or so, there will be an intuitive soul sense that you will want to change channels. Living forever in one body is not as creative as reincarnation, as transferring energy in this fantastic vortex of energy that we are in. We are actually going to see the wisdom of life and death, and enjoy it.

As it is now, we have already been alive forever. This body, that you are in, has been alive forever. It comes from an unending stream of life, going back to the Big Bang and beyond. This body gives life to the next life, in dense and subtle energy. This body has been alive forever already.

One of my questions to the light was, “What is heaven?”

I was given a tour of all the heavens that have been created: the Nirvanas, the Happy Hunting Grounds, all of them. I went through them. These are thought form creations that we have created. We don’t really go to heaven; we are reprocessed. But whatever we created, we leave a part of ourselves there. It is real, but it is not all of the soul.

I saw the Christian heaven. We expect it to be a beautiful place, and you stand in front of the throne, worshiping forever. I tried it. It is boring! This is all we are going to do? It is childlike. I do not mean to offend anyone. Some heavens are very interesting, and some are very boring. I found the ancient ones to be more interesting, like the Native American ones, the Happy Hunting Grounds. The Egyptians have fantastic ones. It goes on and on. There are so many of them. In each of them there is a fractal that is your particular interpretation, unless you are part of the group soul that believes in only the God of a particular religion. Then you are very close, in the same ball park together. But even then, each is a little bit different. That is a part of yourself that you leave there. Death is about life, not about heaven.

What happens when we dream? We are multi-dimensional beings. We can access that through lucid dreaming. In fact, this universe is God’s dream. One of the things that I saw is that we humans are a speck on a planet that is a speck in a galaxy that is a speck. Those are giant systems out there, and we are in sort of an average system. But human beings are already legendary throughout the cosmos of consciousness. The little bitty human being of Earth/Gaia is legendary. One of the things that we are legendary for is dreaming. We are legendary dreamers. In fact, the whole cosmos has been looking for the meaning of life, the meaning of it all. And it was the little dreamer who came up with the best answer ever. We dreamed it up. So dreams are important.

Lynnclaire Dennis’ Near-Death Experience

Near-death testimonies often include an encounter with a heavenly “Light.” But to my, webmaster Kevin Williams’ knowledge, no experiencer other than Lynnclaire Dennis (www.mereon.org) has ever brought back a detailed scientific description of the Light’s complex geometric structure and movement. In her 1997 book entitled The Pattern, Lynnclaire first described in detail her amazing NDE and description of this Light. Many years have passed since I first learned of her profound NDE and it remains one of the most transcendental and amazing NDEs I have ever come across. Her NDE testimony has graced the “Exceptional NDEs” section of my website from its very beginning. We continued to stay in touch over the years and I continued to follow her work hoping what she brought back from her NDE would develop into the scientific discovery we now know it is – the very science of life and living.

From the very beginning, despite her religious upbringing, Lynnclaire courageously refused to give this Pattern of Light the ambiguous label of “God”. She prefers to simply call it “The Pattern” and she describes it as an all-connecting pattern of Light – a three-dimensional mandala representative of time and space, and the energy generating matter. Because she experienced The Pattern as pure Love, she has always maintained it to be the reason why Love is all that matters. Read more about this in the article entitled The Science of Life Discovered From Lynnclaire Dennis’ Near-Death Experience and be sure to check out Lynnclaire’s Blog. 1. Lynnclaire Dennis’ Initial Near-Death Experience

“I recall precisely the moment that I broke the bonds of this inimical world and was immersed in the warmth of the light. Suddenly I was safe, warm, and basking in the luminous sunlight high in the luminous sunlight high in the alpine meadows of Mt. Rainier. I was no longer over the Alps – I was in Washington State. Somehow this made perfect sense.

“Here, in a place filled with vivid and joyous childhood memories, I took extraordinary comfort in the firmness of the ground beneath my feet. With gratitude and wonder, I wandered through the valley, suffused with a certain knowing that I had crossed a cosmic frontier. Was this heaven, or was it perhaps some place beyond that celestial other-world I’d always hoped to be good enough to enter? All I knew – and knew for certain – was that time and space were nothing more than attenuated wisps of human invention. Both were webs of light created in my consciousness.

“As my being expanded I saw the cords of years that bound me to the planet. The bond, which was braided from strands of days, bands of months, and ribbons of years, fashioned a nexus between then and now. No doubt this was the mountain of my childhood, but it was essentially different. It was real, yet it was out of sync with the abstraction of linear time. As I stood there I realized that if time was all here now, then it could not be a straight line. This could only mean that there could be no such thing as a beginning, a middle, or an end. Furthermore, it was here that I determined that I was out of time as well, even though I had a corporal existence.

“Never before had I considered that there might be such things as coexistent realities. Never had I imagined that there might be concurrent realms. Never in my wildest dreams had I thought there might be a way to remember and feel different times and events as if they were happening right now. I realized that in life, death is merely the other side of a threshold over which I could not ‘normally’ see. So, too, in death, life and the land of the ‘living’ were on the other side of a very thin veil.

“It struck me that perhaps neither heaven nor Earth is as black or white as I had heretofore believed.

“It was then that I looked down at my body and with amazement wondered, “Where did this gown come from?” I was no longer bound in heavy, restricting layers of winter wool, but was wearing an exquisite white gown that appeared to be fashioned of a fabric some master designer had created by splashing star dust on filigree spider webs. I watched as it seemed to float above my skin. It was as if a million tiny wings kept it from putting even the weight of a feather on my body. A sense of lightness permeated my being to what I thought must be a cellular – indeed a ‘soulular’ – level.

“And then I heard the MUSIC. It was a tone so sublimely perfect that remembering it still brings me to tears. I knew then, and know now, that I was hearing the symphony of angels, the song of the universe, what some have called the ‘Music of the Spheres‘. All thoughts melted in its melody and everything else ceased to be of any importance. I closed my eyes and began to dance, moving to the resonant vibration that coursed through my essence. The melody seemed to issue from a single point and was composed of one verse, a song whose mystical tone my entire being knew and sang. I bathed in its melody as utter joy filled my being, and as the sound washed over my spirit, I felt all confusion purged from my consciousness.

“Standing beneath this euphonious canopy of grace, I knew love was being awakened at the depths of my soul. Moving with this aria of elegant mercy, I began my return to the dawn of totality as a growing sense of Oneness swelled within my heart, mind, and soul.”

2. Meeting Her Deceased Grandmother

“Unspeakable joy filled my heart when I saw my paternal grandmother walking down the mountain. She approached me and enveloped me with open arms. The last time I had seen her was the summer of 1963.

“For more than twenty years I carried an inconsolable grief in my heart because I never got to say good-bye.

“Now we were together again in a magical place where time held no meaning. As we talked of love, I realized that it alone was real. We walked hand in hand in a vacuum beyond the boundary we call time. My grief disappeared as our love was redeemed from what I had believed to be oblivion. We walked in a sacred space where earthly memory pictures were hung without physical frames. We traversed a realm that for many in the here and now defies logical explanation or reason. Yet, I know that it is a realm that is exceedingly real. It is a space where grace knows no bounds and only infinite love abounds. We only have to remember to make it ‘real.’

“In luxuriant warmth we moved on, drawn higher into the valley, moving toward the Source of the light. I made a single turn, and the meadow suddenly became an amphitheater. On a stage that seemed to be suspended in front of me, I witnessed, with my grandmother, what seemed to be an encore performance of my life.

“Ninety degrees to my right was what I perceived to be a doorway, just within the range of my peripheral vision. It was from this doorway that every character who had played in my life’s drama emerged. In turn they walked to center stage, where they faced me. As they greeted me, I inexplicably seemed to understand the highest purpose of our earthly connection. It was love. I saw each person for who he or she was apart from the descriptions I had previously used to define each of them. As they taught me love, I realized what an important role we play in the development of one another’s personality. I saw how judgment, blame, and shame distort or destroy one’s sense of self. For the first time I saw the depth of the impression we make on one another’s lives.

“I was greeted by acquaintances, friends, my grandparents, my father’s best friend, as well as a school chum from seventh grade.”

3. Meeting Her Miscarried Son and Having a Life Review

“One of them most wondrous encounters came when my maternal grandmother approached me carrying a baby. I knew this child was the son I had miscarried in the seventh month of a difficult pregnancy in 1977. Seeing him brought a new peace to my soul as I finally realized that this child of my heart had fulfilled his purpose to absolute perfection. Both then and now, in what was truly a magical moment, his tiny presence awakened a new measure of life within my being. It was only upon this sacred mountain that finally my highest self was endowed with the peace required to end my grief and grant this innocent infant his wings.

I soon realized that time is not linear, but rather composed of life’s lessons, all of which I had passed through. This panorama flowed over me like a river of living water. As my previously shallow awareness of love and life deepened, I knew that nothing in my life or my death was an accident.

“After each person shared his or her message, the meaning of love, each one turned and exited through another door located to the left of the stage. I knew without a doubt that I would soon walk through that door and join them on the other side.

“The last person to walk on the stage of my life was a man unknown to me. As he walked to the center of the stage and turned to face me, I noticed that my vision was no longer clear. Although I was certain this was not someone I knew, I could feel him at the depths of my soul. He began to speak, communicating directly to my heart. The message he shared that day was engraved on both my mind and my soul:

‘Lynnclaire, you will be a catalyst for change, for love. You will bring forth, hold, and honor remembrance. You will bring to conscious awareness the realms, realities, and remnants in order that the spirit may remember the dance.’

“I knew this was Truth. I also knew that I had never felt so remembered, recognized, understood, or loved. Yet, when he turned to leave, instead of following the others and walking off the stage through the door to my left, he turned toward the right. As I watched him return through the doorway from which he had entered, I clearly recall thinking this was important.

“Since that day I’ve identified him as the presence. Suddenly, the stage was gone and I was once again out of time. I was a witness, observing myself as a child … I watched as my innocent child-self … began to dance across the meadows.

“Then, as I contemplated this celebration of life, I saw that in a single turn in my-her waltz, I-she was no longer a child, but a thirty-five year old woman dancing alone in the Hofburg Palace … I was once more in my magical gown, moving alone in harmony with the MUSIC. In that moment I chose to merge with that self and began to dance. Each step drew me closer to the light.

“Then, in a sacred place somewhere before the light, I found myself being held, gently rocked, nurtured, and embraced in the arms of the one I believed to be the presence. Whether this was a guide, a guardian, a human man who has the ability to walk between the worlds, or even an angel, it does not matter. For still today this memory is alive. The presence vibrates within my senses and daily infuses my sentient memory archives with love. I knew then, and remember now, the warmth, serenity, and comfort I felt as I was embraced in the arms of a long and still-remembered love. As I was cradled in this serene embrace, I was bathed in light. My spirit was imbued with a sense of peace, and my soul was engraved with the remembrance of a timeless love.

“As the experience dissolved into the light, I found myself again moving higher up the mountain. When I paused to look back into the valley I saw myself as a child again, this time picking a bouquet of wild alpine blooms. As I-she waltzed through the meadow, I heard myself-her singing, calling out to the mountain, “I love you. I love you. I’m home.”

“I closed my eyes and wondered, ‘Am I home? Or am I going home?’

“With my eyes closed, as if in a vision within a vision, I saw my mother. I could not understand why she was there. As far as I knew, my mom was very much alive. Wasn’t this ‘the other side?’ I knew I was no longer alive and felt that I was in a space between the worlds…

“It was then that I saw the tunnel and knew with absolute assurance that I was on my way home, certain that the home I had long yearned for was in the light at the other end of this passageway.

“As I was standing alone with my grandmother, she told me that I must make this part of the journey alone. Filled with peace, I knew I would see her again on the other side.

“I was ready, and without hesitation took my first step into the corridor that led toward the light, crossing an intersection that connected now with forever … Once I was inside the tunnel it was as if someone at the other end was calling my name, drawing me forward. I knew that this passageway was taking me to the top of the mountain, leading me home into the light. I was overjoyed to be going to the summit, as all my life I had wanted to climb to the top of Mt. Rainier. I had never made the attempt, believing that I would try and fail, or that I would die trying.

“I moved effortless into the passage. Soon I knew I would be able to fly. Fly?

“The light was getting brighter and warmer as I moved through the tunnel. The MUSIC, the celestial symphony, continued to fill the air with a psalm of Oneness, played on unseen instruments of peace.

“I arrived at the pinnacle and, standing at the entrance to the light, took a single step, leaving my right footprint embedded in Eternity. I entered a sacred space – a place where I knew I had returned to my most essential nature, where I felt wholly and consciously united with all things and Source, where a soothing balm of peace was poured on my spirit by an unseen hand, an emollient so rich in love that to this day I cannot fully absorb or comprehend it.

4. Lynnclaire Dennis’ Experience with “The Pattern”

“And then, in one ephemeral glimpse, I saw the Pattern, the single strand of the tapestry I knew was the essence woven through matter in every reality. Its design was so complexly simple that I knew it could only have been fashioned in the exalted intricacy of infinity.

“Seeing the Pattern, I knew I was looking at life itself. It was light; it was time and space. It was the energy of all matter, the heart of all that mattered. It was the very essence of all being. It emanated from Source, illuminated to my mind by ‘the Source behind the sun’ as it moved in perfect harmony with all the universe. As I prepared to meld into the Source of light and absolute love, I knew with all my being that the Pattern was the core of all substance. I knew that the MUSIC emanating from the Pattern was the song of my heart, a testament of unconditional love. The single step I had taken was the first in a dance that would take me into the single point of Infinite light, which contained the power of love that would forever illuminate my mind and heart. I inhaled and prepared to take the next step as the exhalation of love, the Life Force of the Universe, carried me home, when, without warning, the melody screeched. Before I could move, a cacophony assaulted me. A cold wind rushed past me, and I remember crying out, ‘No!’

“I knew I was in a life-or-death struggle, this time with an unknown adversary who had grabbed me by my left foot. I was struggling with an enemy who was attempting to yank me backward, pulling me away from the light. I was enraged. I did not want to leave. Yet, even as I was being dragged back, I knew I had to remember. I twisted to the right to look at the Pattern, knowing I must not forget.

“The enemy was my loving partner, Steve. As he frantically administered CPR, he pummeled my chest, forcing oxygen to circulate in my body. Later he would insist that as I reentered my body, my wind-milling fists were empowered with an otherworldly rage.

“The exact length of time I was ‘dead,’ in what is often referred to as a near-death experience, remains uncertain. However, making the ascent from twelve thousand feet, where I remember going out of my body, to more than seventeen thousand feet would probably have taken more than fifteen minutes.

“Although Steve was successful in reviving me, one thing was certain – the woman he had brought back was not the same one who had left. After learning that I was in essence a Being of Light, I had to come back into this world and reenter a dense, physical body. Furthermore, almost every belief I had embraced only hours before – that I was a physical being, that love was outside of me, that God was some patriarchal monarch sitting on a marble throne somewhere in the sky, that death was something to fear, that I was doomed by my past, that religion and spirituality were the same, that spirituality and science were different – was no longer true to my experience. Virtually every picture of ‘reality’ I had used to define my existence – not to be confused with my life – had been cremated. The ashes of the woman I thought I was were scattered on the wind.”

5. An Analysis of Lynnclaire Dennis’ Near-Death Experience by Kevin Williams

One of the amazing aspects of NDEs is how they have so many similar components between them. These similarities include: an out-of-body experience; a tunnel which they travel through; a heavenly Light made of indescribable love; a homecoming with deceased loved ones; an arrival to a heavenly “transit station”; a comprehensive life review; and an encounter with a “Being of Light.” Lynnclaire’s NDE is certainly no exception. The following is my analysis of some of the components of Lynnclaire’s NDE compared with other experiencers’ NDEs. Note that this is certainly not a complete analysis and more information may be added or updated later.

a. Lynnclaire’s Expansion of Consciousness

Like many experiencers during their NDE, Lynnclaire described having her consciousness expand. She described it this way:

“As my being expanded I saw the cords of years that bound me to the planet. I recall precisely the moment that I broke the bonds of this inimical world and was immersed in the warmth of the light … The bond, which was braided from strands of days, bands of months, and ribbons of years, fashioned a nexus between then and now.” (Lynnclaire Dennis)

This expansion process may continue until the experiencer’s consciousness fills the entire universe and even beyond it. People have described this expansion of consciousness as literally “becoming the universe” or “knowing everything in the universe” or “becoming God”. One experiencer, Mellen-Thomas Benedict, described it as:

“Suddenly I seemed to be rocketing away from the planet on this stream of life … At faster than light speed, I flew through the center of the galaxy, absorbing more knowledge as I went … As I rode this stream of consciousness through the center of the galaxy, the stream was expanding in awesome fractal waves of energy … At first I thought I was going somewhere; actually travelling. But then I realized that, as the stream was expanding, my own consciousness was also expanding to take in everything in the Universe!” (Mellen-Thomas Benedict)

b. Lynnclaire’s Life Review in a Heavenly Amphitheater

Another component found in Lynnclaire’s NDE and others is having their life review while inside a heavenly “amphitheater”. Lynnclaire described travelling a heavenly route towards this amphitheater which is found in many other NDEs. It begins by leaving Earth behind and entering into a “Void” – a spaceless and timeless realm where self-reflection is optimal. The journey then continues toward a kind of “receiving station” which in Lynnclaire’s case and others was an amphitheater. She described having her life reviewed in this amphitheater as a kind of heavenly “This Is Your Life” television episode where her deceased loved ones would appear one by one, greet her, and have Lynnclaire’s relationship with them evaluated. Here is how Lynnclaire described it:

“In luxuriant warmth we moved on, drawn higher into the valley, moving toward the Source of the light. I made a single turn, and the meadow suddenly became an amphitheater. On a stage that seemed to be suspended in front of me, I witnessed, with my grandmother, what seemed to be an encore performance of my life. Ninety degrees to my right was what I perceived to be a doorway, just within the range of my peripheral vision. It was from this doorway that every character who had played in my life’s drama emerged. In turn they walked to center stage, where they faced me … I was greeted by acquaintances, friends, my grandparents, my father’s best friend, as well as a school chum from seventh grade … For the first time I saw the depth of the impression we make on one another’s lives … … As they greeted me, I inexplicably seemed to understand the highest purpose of our earthly connection. It was love. I saw each person for who he or she was apart from the descriptions I had previously used to define each of them. As they taught me love, I realized what an important role we play in the development of one another’s personality … I also knew that I had never felt so remembered, recognized, understood, or loved … The highest purpose of our earthly connections is love .. After each person shared his or her message, the meaning of love, each one turned and exited through another door located to the left of the stage. I knew without a doubt that I would soon walk through that door and join them on the other side.” (Lynnclaire Dennis)

Other experiencers have described having their life reviewed in such an amphitheater. One such experiencer, Ned Dougherty, described being, “in the deepest void of space feeling comfortable and at home.” He then entered into a magnificent ethereal structure he described as:

“… an amphitheater made of a brilliant, crystal-like substance .. suspended in the void of space in the same fashion that a space station might hover in space. The amphitheater was similar in size to a sports stadium and conveyed a great majesty.” (Ned Dougherty)

It was there that Ned also experienced a life review.

One female experiencer known on my website only as “P. Anderson.” described seeing a clear white bright light which lead her into:

“a huge, wonderful, stadium or amphitheater where love and music emanated from it.” (P. Anderson)

Another experiencer, known only as “An Accountant“, described it this way:

“As we (he and his deceased parents) walked along together to find Jesus, I noticed there was one building larger than all the others. It looked like a football stadium with an open end to the building where a blinding light radiated from it. I tried to look up at the light but I couldn’t. It was too brilliant. Many people seemed to be bowed in front of this building in adoration and prayer. I said to my parents, ‘What is that?’ They said, ‘In there is God.'” (An Accountant)

Carter Mills was taken to a suspended platform during his NDE where he met a being so powerful he thought it was God. The angels bowed and took their places with two others at the platform’s four corners. Carter learned that the powerful being was Jesus who then led him through a life review.

The life review has been described by many people as being the single most enlightening component of their NDE. The main purpose of the life review is for the experiencer to learn important lessons about love from the perspective of the life they lived while on Earth. Other reasons for the life review are based upon this main purpose. These reasons include:

a. For educating the experiencer about life and death.

b. For educating the experiencer about themselves: why they are the way we are; what were the motives behind their actions; how did their lives impact others; how they could have done better; and what they can do to correct aspects to themselves not compatible with life in the spirit realm. Learning these lessons are important for becoming a better and more spiritual person.

c. For evaluating the experiencer’s soul development for the purpose of attaining soul growth.

d. For evaluating the experiencer’s progress in completing their mission on Earth.

e. For determining the experiencer’s next step toward their progression in the light.

The life review has been presented to experiencers in various ways and as having many interesting characteristics – not all of which are found in every life review. They may include instantly becoming everyone you came in contact with in your entire life: feeling their emotions, thinking their thoughts, living their experiences, learning their motives behind their actions. The experiencer may relive every detail of every second of their life, every emotion, and every thought simultaneously; re-live the way they dealt with others and how others dealt with them. It may involve viewing a few special deeds in your life or replaying a part of your life to focus on a particular event for instruction. Some experiencers have reported viewing past lives and/or the future giving them a strong sense of responsibility. The life review is a fact-finding process rather than a fault-finding process. The experiencer’s motives for everything are as visible as their actions. Often the negative events an individual might expect to see does not show up due to a change of heart.

c. Lynnclaire’s Experience of Timelessness

Experiencers such as Lynnclaire affirm that time does not exist in the spirit realm. This feeling of timelessness after death has been described by experiencers as having the feeling they are returning to a realm they inhabited only a moment ago; and the lifetime they spent on Earth seemed like only a brief moment. One important lesson to be learned from this fact is that by our getting rid of this illusion of time from our minds right now can go a long way in expanding our consciousness by realizing that we are already living in eternity right now. For this reason, while experiencers may have been clinically dead for only a few minutes, their NDE may seem like it lasted for eternity. Lynnclaire described it this way:

“All I knew – and knew for certain – was that time and space were nothing more than attenuated wisps of human invention … As I stood there I realized that if time was all here now, then it could not be a straight line. This could only mean that there could be no such thing as a beginning, a middle, or an end.” (Lynnclaire Dennis)

Another experiencer, Beverly Brodsky described this same principle:

“Space and time are illusions that hold us to the physical realm; in the spirit realm, all is present simultaneously.” (Beverly Brodsky)

Another experiencer, Jayne Smith, described it this way:

“One experience in the spirit realm can feel like forever. Time no longer seems to apply and seems irrelevant. Time is only relevant when it is relative to the normal orderly sequential aspects of life. The experience can feel like a moment and an eternity. You realize that you are eternal and indestructible.” (Jayne Smith)

Kimberly Clark Sharp put it this way:

“Earthly time has no meaning in the spirit realm. There is no concept of before or after. Everything – past, present, future – exists simultaneously.” (Kimberly Clark Sharp)

P.M.H. Atwater‘s description of time and timelessness is my favorite:

“Time and space exists only in the physical realm. When you leave the physical realm, you leave such constraints. Existence there is never ending and ongoing, forever and ever eternal. The only true movement is without the distortion of time and space. It is expansion and contraction, as if the existence that exists were capable of breathing. What appears as a progression, a time-line of starts and stops and ever-changing variations, is but an overleaf, an illusion, that helps us to focus on whatever realm we currently inhabit so that we will accomplish what we set out to do (or at least have an opportunity to), and not be distracted by The Truth that under-girds reality. Using radio as an analogy, dying to this physical realm and entering a spirit realm is comparable to having lived all your life at a certain radio frequency when all of a sudden someone or something comes along and flips the dial. That flip shifts you to another, higher wavelength. The original frequency where you once existed is still there. It did not change. Everything is still just the same as it was. Only you changed, only you speeded up to allow entry into the next radio frequency on the dial. You then fit into your particular spot on the dial by your speed of vibration. You cannot coexist forever where you do not belong.” (P.M.H. Atwater)

d. Lynnclaire’s Experience of Heavenly Music

As in Lynnclaire’s case, many experiencers hear extremely beautiful, heavenly music during their NDE. Lynnclaire described it this way:

“And then I heard the MUSIC. It was a tone so sublimely perfect that remembering it still brings me to tears. I knew then, and know now, that I was hearing the symphony of angels, the song of the universe, what some have called the ‘Music of the Spheres.’ All thoughts melted in its melody and everything else ceased to be of any importance. I closed my eyes and began to dance, moving to the resonant vibration that coursed through my essence. The melody seemed to issue from a single point and was composed of one verse, a song whose mystical tone my entire being knew and sang. I bathed in its melody as utter joy filled my being, and as the sound washed over my spirit, I felt all confusion purged from my consciousness … The MUSIC, the celestial symphony, continued to fill the air with a psalm of Oneness, played on unseen instruments of peace … As I prepared to meld into the Source of light and absolute love, I knew with all my being that the Pattern was the core of all substance. I knew that the MUSIC emanating from the Pattern was the song of my heart, a testament of unconditional love.” (Lynnclaire Dennis)

Another experiencer, Dr. Richard Eby, described it this way:

“Music surrounded me. It came from all directions. Its harmonic beauty unlike earthly vocal or instrumental sounds was totally undistorted. It flowed unobtrusively like a glassy river, quietly worshipful, excitingly edifying, and totally comforting. It provided a reassuring type of comfort much like a protective blanket that whispered peace and love. I had never sensed anything like it. Perhaps angelic would describe it.” (Dr. Richard Eby)

Steve Roach of Tucson, Arizona, had an NDE after a bike crash and heard:

“… the most intensely beautiful music you could ever imagine.” (Steve Roach)

As a result of this experience he decided “to dedicate my life to re-creating the exact same sound.” The result is a record entitled “Structures from Silence.” Says Roach:

“Many people contact me after hearing my recordings to tell me that they’ve heard the exact same music during their NDEs.” (Steve Roach)

Such NDE revelations show the great importance music plays in the universe, in the spirit realms, in our souls and the divine. Lynnclaire’s NDE resulted in a wonderful and rare ability to see sound which she expresses in her art.

Some of the insights from NDEs concerning this heavenly music include:

  1. In the spirit realm, gardens sing and colors can be heard. It is a realm where light and sound, color and geometrical patterns are all combined into a totality of harmonic perfection.
  2. The music heard in NDEs is on a level beyond hearing. It comes from within the very core of your soul. It is like living on a universal wave length which envelops you totally.
  3. Other descriptions of this heavenly music include: unearthly harmonic beauty, angelic, sublimely beautiful, exquisite harmonies, heavenly, a celestial choir of angels, an orchestra of voices, hymns sung to God, mystical tones, harmonic perfection, music transcending all thought, bells and wind chimes, glorious tones and rhythms and melodies, music that is experienced from within, and music that puts Bach to shame.

e. Lynnclaire’s Homecoming Experience

Many NDEs such as Lynnclaire’s include a “homecoming” where the experiencer realizes their true home was not on Earth, but in the spirit realm along with deceased family and loved ones who immediately greet them. After death, most people are immediately greeted by a loved one(s) to understand what has happened. This “homecoming” is like a big celebration – similar to a surprise birthday party – heralding your arrival. Lynnclaire was immediately greeted by her beloved grandmother and then by the rest of her loved ones on the Other Side. She described her homecoming this way:

“Unspeakable joy filled my heart when I saw my paternal grandmother walking down the mountain. She approached me and enveloped me with open arms. The last time I had seen her was the summer of 1963. For more than twenty years I carried an inconsolable grief in my heart because I never got to say good-bye. Now we were together again in a magical place where time held no meaning.” (Lynnclaire Dennis)

Later on in her NDE, Lynnclaire described how she closed her eyes and wondered, “Am I home? Or am I going home?”

Another experiencer, Barbara Springer, described her homecoming this way:

“I can’t find words to explain how I felt. The amount of joy I felt. The amount of love I knew I was being given. I felt as if I had come home. I knew this is where I actually belonged. Even though I love Earth and I love living here. But when I was encountered by that being, I knew I had come home.” (Barbara Springer)

Another experiencer, Arthur Yensen, put it this way:

“Then I noticed that the landscape was gradually becoming familiar. It seemed as if I had been here before. I remembered what was on the other side of the mountains. Then with a sudden burst of joy, I realized that this was my real home! Back on Earth I had been a visitor, a misfit, and a homesick stranger. With a sigh of relief, I said to myself, ‘Thank God I’m back again. This time I’ll stay!'” (Arthur Yensen)

Another experiencer, Barbara Marie, described it this way:

“And then there was a period of being embraced by this love and peace and serenity and knowing I had reached my final destination, that this was truly a home. It gave new meaning to the word ‘home.'” (Barbara Marie)

Barbara Marie realized this was where she actually belonged and where she wanted to be forever.

f. Lynnclaire’s Experience with the Circle of Twelve Elders

After her NDE, Lynnclaire had recurring dreams of The Pattern where she was able to bring more subconscious memories of The Pattern’s geometric structure into her conscious awareness. The Pattern consists of twelve pieces surrounded by an unbroken line creating seven bridges within it. The mathematical name for this structure is a Fourier Trefoil Knot. There is an interesting connection between this twelve-piece Pattern and the so-called “Council of Twelve Elders” – a group of enlightened beings appearing frequently in NDEs whose primary purpose is to evaluate the experiencer’s mission in life. Along with having recurring dreams of the Pattern, Lynnclaire also had recurring dreams of a “Circle of Twelve Elders” one of whom is Asian and who’s “avatar” is currently living on Earth. In 1996, Lynnclaire visited China at the invitation of a scientist named Steve Bryson and within hours of arriving there, she was introduced to a man whom she recognized as the Asian elder. As a result, Lynnclaire worked with The Gorbachev Foundation and found doors opening to diplomatic circles in many countries. Lynnclaire views the process behind The Pattern as being a potentially powerful tool for negotiations. Perhaps the Council of Elders from Lynnclaire’s NDE are giving humanity the proof we need to understand how we are connected religiously, culturally, politically and metaphysically. As human beings, we are all one and the same.

Dr. Michael Newton‘s ground-breaking research using hypnotic regression to guide people into past-life memories led him to the discovery of memories of experiences in out-of-body dimensions between Earth lives. After performing a great multitude of regressions, Newton realized there existed an important process after death where people appear before a Council of Elders:

“After souls arrive back into their soul groups, they are summoned to appear before a Council of Elders. While the Council is not prosecutorial, they do engage in direct examination of a soul’s activities before returning them to their groups. Upon returning to Earth, one of the last requirements before embarkation for many souls is to go before the Council of Elders for the second time. The spirit world is an environment personified by order and the Elders want to reinforce the significance of a soul’s goals for the next life. Some return to their spirit group after this meeting to say goodbye while others say they leave immediately for reincarnation. Those souls getting ready for embarkation to Earth are like battle-hardened veterans girding themselves for combat. This is the last chance for souls to enjoy the omniscience of knowing just who they are before they must adapt to a new body.” (Dr. Michael Newton)

Dannion Brinkley had an NDE where he was led to a heavenly cathedral by a Being of Light. There he met twelve more Beings of Light each of whom represented one sign of the zodiac:

“I was able to count the beings as they stood behind the podium. There were thirteen of them, standing shoulder to shoulder and stretched across the stage. I was aware of other things about them, too, probably through some form of telepathy. Each one of them represented a different emotional and psychological characteristic that all humans have. For example, one of these beings was intense and passionate, while another was artistic and emotional. One was bold and energetic, yet another possessive and loyal. In human terms, it was as though each one represented a different sign of the zodiac. In spiritual terms, these beings went far beyond the signs of the zodiac. They emanated these emotions in such a way that I could feel them.” (Dannion Brinkley)

Other experiencers have referred to this group of higher beings by other names as well such as: “a council of men,” or “council”, or “Elders”, or something similar. This council of twelve has also been identified to be the twelve apostles of Christ.

g. The Important Role The Pattern May Play in the Future

Visions of the future, as revealed in many NDEs, are practically unanimous in describing a coming “Golden Age” on Earth which result from near-death experiencers such as Lynnclaire bringing heavenly information to Earth. The general consensus from NDE revelations is the Earth will eventually be filled with people who have evolved spirituality in the same way other enlightened beings have, such as: Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Muhammad, etc. It will also be a world with surprisingly little technology; and where humanity has developed “superhuman” or supernatural abilities. For example, humanity has been foreseen to evolve to a point where groups of people praying together will be able to control the climate. Children have been foreseen to be the most precious commodity in the world; and raising children has been foreseen to be the highest priority of the human race. It will be a future where greater understanding of the afterlife will common knowledge; and wisdom will be more important than science. According to one NDE experiencer who was shown the future, Howard Storm, it will be:

“… a euphoric future without anxiety, hatred, and competition” and where everyone will have “enormous trust and mutual respect” for others. (Howard Storm)

Lynnclaire’s extraordinary NDE and her bringing The Pattern into this world is already playing an important role in humanity. As an example, in my opinion, Lynnclaire’s educational program for children, called BeLonging, will be the perfect system to educate children because it is based upon principles discovered in The Pattern. Lynnclaire, her NDE and The Pattern is proving to be an important catalyst for humans to mature spiritually enough to assume a higher place in God’s universe.
